  1. As for the ref he didn't buy May's dives so he gets credit for that at least.
  2. It's a 100% red card. Even Robinson isn't moaning about just claiming it was accidental as in he accidentally forearm smashed him then accidentally stamped on him.
  3. He threw an elbow then stamped on Kane.
  4. Given O'Hara's efforts last week i'm not that keen to see him again. Even without Donnelly getting suspended what we need is someone who can dictate play from the holding position and I don't think that is going to be Maguire. Getting our Danish international on the park could be a big boost with some hard games coming up after St Mirren.
  5. Gillespie by a mile. Obviously the saves made the difference but today was the best i've seen him on crosses.
  6. We didn't play a lot of football today but everyone worked hard. Cole's miss was probably the most memorable part of the match but I was delighted he redeemed himself. I thought Hylton looked better than Seedorf but he did look knackered near the end. Illic was murder again, there is no way that Semple would be worse. Donnelly was definitely a red. Kane had been involved with Polworth a few times before but Donnelly was daft to stamp him. Hopefully this is the time for Sloth to step up or questions are going to be asked about what exactly is going on. Moving Grimmy to midfield will probably be Robinson's first thought but hopefully not as that would be a definite regression.
  7. I don't trust the offside decisions at all. As you say it's impossible to determine exactly when the ball is struck and the cameras are at an angle which means the pictures aren't completely trustworthy. There are four variables of the ball being struck, attacker's position, defender's position and the camera position/angle. Yet they are treating it like a photo finish in sprinting with only one with no margin for error.
  8. I've just been reading that UEFA are setting up a diddy cup below the Europa league from 2021-22. So unless we qualify for the Europa League this season we'll probably be aiming at the UEFA Europa Conference League in future.
  9. The reason Grimshaw runs with the ball is because he can't pass, cross or shoot.
  10. We put Tait to left back because we didn't have a left back. He was playing well at right back at the time.
  11. Donnelly can drop out any time for Sloth. He has sold too many goals already.
  12. Carroll's first yellow was a border line red so that probably counted against him.
  13. We didn't adjust to them going two up front. Pathetic efforts from Donnelly and O'Hara for the goals. Even when we were well on top we weren't creating much apart from a few shots from Scott and the bit of quality from Campbell. Turnbull can't come back soon enough.
  14. It's to be a belter of a day tomorrow. Short sleeves, shades and a few goals for Scott and Cole.
  15. If it's an internal promotion Lasley will be the man. He was close to getting it last time.
  16. Budge seems like too much of a cheapskate to pay any compensation.
  17. Hastie scores his third in 3 games at the Stadium of Light. The stuff on here about him falling down the leagues was laughable.
  18. Darren O'Dea has left to rejoin Celtic. So that's us looking for a new youth coach to work under Hammell. I can't see Craggs coming back, Clarkson is already here, Fitzpatrick is assistant at Airdire and Pearson is working as an agent. Paul Quinn might be the next man up
  19. Porter was good at 1 on 1s. Tommy Coyne was the best I've seen.
  20. Hopefully Michael Stewart can clock the speed of Seedorf's goal with some of his new tech gear.
  21. Long misses another 1 on 1.
  22. Why do we keep on scoring three goals against the Edinburgh clubs!
  23. Jeremy Hylton scores BBC Scotland are fucking hopeless.
  24. We've only lost a lead once in 9 games so far.
