If we had signed a striker who had scored two goals in our league in the previous season would you feel differently?

The guy scored two goals last season. He surely won't be our number 9.

This probably isn't the thread for it but the notion that discussing this is wrong because of Rangers fans point scoring has meant that the victims had to wait an extra 20 years for justice and are still waiting on an apology and compensation. Celtic promoted that line through the media to protect their reputation and it's sad to see after so much information has become available that people are still mindlessly parroting it.

Centre mid is the only position we are actually strong in. Clarke is trying to figure out who to play out of McGregor, Armstrong, McTominany and McGinn and is also apparently wants to bring back McArthur. He also has Kenny McLean and Bannan who have had good seasons. He probably just thinks the doesn't need another centre mid when he's trying to balance that. If Turbull keeps scoring goals he will be in the squad before long.

I think the SFA generally just use the FIFA guidelines going by the Telfer and Ferguson decisions. In England the tribunals can award millions if they think the player has potential but up here it's more formulaic.

He can't sign with Rangers because he's under contract at Fir Park. They made him a great offer and we let him enter the final six months of his deal without any offer. We release boys every year and no one blinks an eye. No one is worrying about where Kyle McDonald or Jason Krones will be next season. It's a lopsided deal with a lot of fans: if the boys are good they owe us a few years but if they aren't first team material they are quickly forgotten.
