We were playing free flowing football under McLean when I actually started watching the game. Before that I was just playing with rocks on the slope behind the portholes. I suspect Robinson would bench Davie Cooper to fit Andy Rose in the team.

Andy Rose didn't make a tackle for 50 minutes the last time we played at Tynecastle. You would bet on John Boyle to beat him in a 50/50.

To be fair to Robinson his career was in the balance last night. Lose against County and the chance are he would be sacked in the next few weeks. Getting canned from us and Oldham in the space of 12 months wouldn't have left him many options. He was under extreme pressure. Now we have earned a bit of breathing space he has to try and get the team playing some football even if the results don't go our way in Edinburgh.

I think both managers are a joke. We started off with Rose on the left and when it became clear that they had no ambition of attacking stuck him in as a fourth centre mid. I've never seen a game where both managers have abandoned 1/3rd of the park. Defensively we did well. Kipre, Aldred, Carson, Dunne and McHugh did well. Cadden was completely wasted and we didn't utilise Tanner very well.

Absolutely dire. Robinson's tactics are brutal.

Auld Roy is doing his usual January shopping. He obviously made Coyle a few guarantees and I wouldn't be surprised if they sign another couple of high earners. I think Tanner will be the match winner for us tonight.

Great news. Great video. That's Carson, Hartley and Campbell signed up until May 2020 and you would hope that we get Richard Tait extended soon as well which gives us a solid core to build on.

We would only move into 6th if we win by three goals and Kilmarnock draw with St Johnstone. Going 10 points from 12th place should be enough motivation.

He would need to move for a few million at some point in the future to make focusing on a sell on worthwhile. Seems unlikely. Lobey makes a good point about him playing wing back having an effect on his value.

Will Cadden be happy playing wing back?

Not the worst draw. I think I'd rather play Dundee than up in Inverness.

He's certainly better at wing back than he is in midfield where the game passes him by. He's still nowhere near good enough to be a regular starter.
