At one point in the first half there were two Dundee players on the deck after 50/50s with Charles. I don't think i've seen him come off second best in a challenge yet this season, he's indestructible.

McCann/Hartley talks pish. Carson made two very good saves and we had more than enough chances to run away with it first half. We won our battles all over the park today and deserved the win. Our final third play wasn't great but at the same time we should have scored more. Ciftci is a massive enigma. Started well for 20 minutes, looked like he was going to get sent off for about 35 minutes then played well again until he was subbed. I can't knock the guy for effort but you have to wonder all the touches and taking the ball into the defenders is actually doing us any favours overall. Everybody played well but i'd say Dunne was my MOTM with Aldred, Tait and Main very good.

Dundee in winter might send him over the edge.

The way Main tries to strike the ball early is a breath of fresh air. He actually looked disappointed he didn't score more tonight but if he keeps on turning bits of space into decent shots he will do very well for us. First half was forgettable but we at least adapted at half time, pushed men up the park and made a lot of chances. St Johnstone were terrible, usually they are aggressive and clinical but tonight they looked like they didn't give a fuck. They had no attacking threat and seemed to put in less effort as the game went on. I'd say everyone played well other than Ciftci. If Rose played like that more often he wouldn't get the stick he does. Kipre, Tait, Campbell and Main were excellent. McHugh gets stick on here but the amount of balls he contests is immense, that's why he is in the team.

St Johnstone are more negative than us. Main looks sharp but we have zero creativity. If you hadn't seen Ciftci playing for Dundee United it would be very confusing watching him play.

At least being freezing cold will take our minds off the shitfest.

I didn't bother going to today because you know exactly what you are getting. It's the same shite tactics every week. It backfired on me because the rugby and my coupon were a disaster. Robinson sees his job as not getting sacked. He's not interested in entertaining the fans or bringing through young players. If we are struggling it'll be reason to shitfest and if we are doing well it's evidence that shitfesting works. He's never going to open up.

Main is used to the workload of the English lower leagues. He looks like a very fit guy, he'll be fine. Ciftci doesn't really run so he could probably play 7 days a week.

The society money was a reference to the society board buying a 5% shareholding for £150,000 without consulting the members despite the fact that it was worth nowhere near that. As for the Mixler thing I heard he quit because Burrows wouldn't pay him expenses.

Apparently the club couldn't meet Graham's wage demands so they parted ways. A bit harsh after all the society money he helped funnel to them.

Tait got caught out last night but Boyle and Barker are both flying machines. His position and the formation being changed during near enough every game probably isn't helping either.

We've been just as bad in the other games but got lucky with OGs, a penalty, a 96th minute set piece and the ref ignoring Ciftci bundling a guy over.

Our play has been shocking though. We have no idea how to create a chance other than play it down the left and swing a hopeful ball into the box. Rose getting subbed off after doing nothing for about the 20th time this season....

Or if he wants to pack the centre of the park Ross MacLean to support Main from the wing.
