Football is a 14 man game these days. 55 minutes of Lasley and 35 minutes of either of Clay or Lucas is better than 90 minutes of just one of them. Pearson and McHugh is probably the best centre mid pairing we could play at the moment but we need Pearson to give us balance on the left.

I feel the same but that's what slightly worrying me. Last season we had a real wake up call against Partick Thistle and Killie around this time which kick started us into the top six. This season we feel more complacent.

I'd start Las and get 50 or 60 minutes out him and then bring on either Clay or Lucas depending on how the game's going. McDonald and Moult have to start together up front.
