The Hearts fans are besmirching Craggs live on TV. Hopefully we can avenge him this Saturday. -

He quit to join MK Dons and seems to be doing well. I would wager getting away from Levein was part of his decision. -
Port Vale put in a bid earlier in the window but apparently it was derisory.

Hearts have signed a load of new players. 9 new signings plus a manager who seems to be under major pressure already. Also from the last time we played them at Fir Park Souttar and Paterson are out, Watt has left, Djoum is at the African nations and Rherras may or may not be back. With Moult and McDonald up top we should be able to get at them. If Rangers beat them tonight they'll need the win more than we do. -

I don't think he is behind Samson when the ball is headed. McManus has made a terrible attempt at marking McEveley and Tait has wandered away from his man. -

I don't but given that it is 70 times easier to defend a cross than it is to score from it makes sense to give teams space on the wing and have your back four and midfield focused on stopping more dangerous ways of attacking. -

Do you watch any other football apart from Motherwell? Crosses are not uncommon in football. A quick google shows that the average number of crosses in a game across the big European leagues is 40. And that a team will make 70 crosses for every from a cross. -
I was talking about this the other week. Was it not the case that we turned down the bid but then sold him to Celtic after the window closed but before the upcoming Scottish Cup tie against Morton? It's his seventh season at Fir Park and he's playing beside guys he's known for years. I don't think we have too much to worry about if he stays.

We are deep in Tuechtarland, surely it'd be impossible to sell anyone now. -

Go on the Well! -
The only thing on twitter about Moult and Rangers is a wind up account. Someone claiming to work for SSN but retweeting JeansAndSheuxs.

I'm glad the players got the memo. Also good to see Moult move ahead of the £40m man in the league scoring charts. -

OT but have we scored from a corner this season? I don't think we have. -

Jim O'Brien starting for County. McIntyre will have him running at Tait. -
We have a vacancy for a fatty now Brill is away Good news that Pearo is signing. Ciftci is a gamble but he's guaranteed to be a better option as third striker than what we have.
-
Getting the reserves to take a dive to a non league side is taking it a bit far though.

Scottish Premiership Motherwell V Rangers Sat 28 Jan 12:30

They have obviously seen the Green Brigade get away with rioting inside Dens and Tynecastle, singing Roll of Honour every game and hanging effigies and realised that the SFA are never going to punish clubs for the fans behaviour. -
I think the Youth Champions League is an official competition now so the games get postponed. Hopefully Celtic lose a few games when their fixtures start to pile up.

I'm not saying that it's McGhee's fault no one has come in for them but I think he should have worked with them both for the benefit club due to how much money we owe them and tried to get some value from their contracts. Heneghan might be slightly better than Laing but I don't think that actually makes much difference over the season. Killie and Accies are getting similar outcomes with worse individuals. Having a balanced team that can play to a system and getting the best squad for your budget is more important at our level now than the difference in quality between the good and bad players non city Premiership clubs can sign. We're wasting a lot of wages and our squad is unbalanced. When you look at the team on Saturday and see a young right back at left mid and two injured players spearheading our 'attack' with no options (other than frozen out LA) on the bench that is down to McGhee.
-
What is hurting us is that he came in and immediately tried to force out Ainsworth and Laing to free up their wages and we are still paying them more than a year later. That's massive amounts of money down the drain because McGhee likes to play favourites. We need to get the best out our budget and there is no way Ainsworth couldn't have contributed more and I don't think there is much difference between Laing and Heneghan.
-
St Johnstone have kept the core of their team together and are a bit more careful with their signings than us. The sore point just now is that Killie are out performing us despite being a shambles from top to bottom.
-
They threw the game. Newcastle and Brighton did the same yesterday.

It's almost as if it's better to sign to Scottish players than chancers from non League English football. 13 players today. 12 played for other Scottish clubs and 1 through the youth team.
