    Belic

There's no mystery with Belic. Everyone who has seen him play says he is well below the standard required. Blyth looked sub Casagolda in his sub appearances. Bowman doesn't look too clever either.
  2. We've lost all our games against the top five teams so far. Hearts are a bad match up for us. Too big, too strong. The main thing is picking up points against the other teams in the relegation battle.
  3. I doubt there are any EPL teams with a full stand priced lower than the East. It's more likely to be restricted view or a limited number of cheap deals for PR purposes.

    Dom Thomas

Faddy or bust seems harsh. There's a lot of space in between. The biggest things that has happened with Thomas is the fans (and i'll admit doing it) got carried away with a few bits of skill. He obviously needs to work with the coaches to improve but every sub appearance shouldn't be do or die. Give the guy a break and lower expectations.
  5. I think it's the six weeks off that causes the fitness issues rather than the league cup.
  6. I sit up the far end of the East Stand so Partick Thistle away was the first time i've seen Brill fairly close. He's fat as fuck! I spend about five minutes wondering why some random was on the park before being told it was him. It obviously doesn't matter as much as outfielders but it suggests he's not bursting his arse to get a start.
  7. Great news. Hopefully the Society can grow from here.
  8. There are rumours that he is down in Brighton a lot during the week and McFadden is taking training. That's not acceptable from any manager.
  9. McGhee said on the radio after the Rangers cup game in the middle of July that his aim for the season was to avoid relegation. I think that gives a good idea of what he thinks of the club and the resources he has available.
  10. I thought Tait did well. Cadden stood out amongst the dross as usual but he needs end product.
  11. I get the impression that McGhee sees the job as below him and he's more suited to five star hotels that Scotland stay in and standing across from Jogi Low or in the technical area at Wembley than doing the dirty work up at Dalziel Park. The reaction he got from the fans at the start of the year probably soured things a bit but there is no excuse for the half arsed job he has done this season from the late start to preseason to the scattergun team selection and signing policy. Fitness is a massive issue as well and we are creating basically nothing in the second half of games. I thought we were going to be saved this season by Accie and Killie but they have both shown more than us this season so far and appear to have more qualities for a relegation battle. It's still early but the next two games are massive. Lose them both and I think McGhee will be guaranteed to be away before the New Year.
  12. Inverness did what every team does against us at Fir Park now. Kept it tight first half, went for the win second half. McGhee is under pressure now. We haven't improved in two years since McCall left and the players McGhee signed haven't made any impact.
  13. Gary Mackay Steven looks like he's enjoying doing the Celtic TV. He'll surely leave in January.
  14. Some turnaround from having our support in uproar about whether or not he was too much of a jakey to play for us.
  15. The game is a formality. Hopefully we will be using the 3 weeks between the Hearts and ICT games to build fitness levels which is more important than keeping the score down here.
  16. There are already rules in place for u16s moving between clubs. His parents should be looking for a club that won't risk a child playing against adults for a publicity stunt. Weeyin will be shocked that club employees talk about their work in private but i've heard from a reliable source that Celtic have no expectations of keeping him.
  17. Given that our first team is full of Conference players it seems far fetched that Conference teams are going to want players who can't even get 20 minutes off the bench for us.
  18. The police probably don't want our fans coming out to the Peacock Cross area at 5PM. It's usually bedlam up there after an Old Firm match.
  19. Lucas is 24 and has played a handful of games. He's got no more experience than the youths really. It would surely have been better to roll the money we are spending on him, Belic and Blyth into a starting midfielder and use the younger players as cover and subs when need be. Motherwell teams that would have hammered the current incarnation got good service out of Fitzpatrick, Smith, Page, Kinniburgh, Saunders and Forbes none of whom went onto a good career but made important and cheap contributions. Craigan talking about players not being ready is unbelievable. He wasn't ready but getting some appearances under his belt didn't exactly hurt him or MFC. Reading this forum sometimes you would think the club existed for the purpose of selling players to English clubs. If we become a development team for Conference players - which we will be in 12 months time if we don't change tact - attendances will go through the floor. Who actually wants to see that?
  20. There are young players better than Lee Lucas. There are young better than Craig Clay when he starts walking about. There are young players who should be in the team ahead of McFadden. Cadden only got a shot because we got hammered 6-0 at Tynecastle and McGhee was under major pressure.
