I thought Bowman did well today until he tired. He lead line and allowed Moult and McDonald to play, he's a bit rough but has plenty of areas where he should improve. Clay faded in the second half again and I think we suffered later on from not making changes as Clay, Cadden and Bowman were all burst. Sticking Lionel on the left doesn't give us any real benefit. On chances created a draw would have been fair but it's good to see a few goals and Moult's attitude is different class. He's desperate to win and score every time he steps on the park.

There's a difference between dropping your own signings and dropping the signings of previous managers. Giving Faddy a game recently and signing Lucas are bad indicators. All five of the boys in the u20s midfield should be aiming for the first team. I don't expect to see any of them get any meaningful game time any time soon though.

Good result. This season is going to be harder than I thought, Killie and Accies aren't going to curl up and die so every point is vital. Positives are that Moult is back and Ainsworth sounded lively off the bench.

He's not played any football this season and looked fat in the interview on youtube. Good to see Fry getting a spot on the bench after positive reviews.

Maybe we would have finished 2nd in 2011/12 if he was fully committed. Maybe he would have lifted a trophy if he had been a bit fitter. Maybe he would have tackled Considine up at Pittodrie rather than jog away from him. The guy was fat his entire time here then a few months later was slimmed down in Holland. He just couldn't be arsed getting fit when he was here.

I'm just basing this on what Blyth has done on the pitch so. Going by his sub appearances he's worse than Casagolda. We have signed completely hopeless players before and no doubt will again in the future. Higdon was too fat when he was here. Amazingly he managed to lose the weight in Holland which he couldn't do at Fir Park. And unbelievably when he was taking money for nothing at Sheffield United he piled it all back on again.

He seems like the opposite of Higdon. An extremely fit (or at least muscular) guy with zero ability.

Has Belic played any football this season? I'd be surprised to see him start. Bowman is more likely assuming Moult is still out.

With Celtic u20s getting hammered 5-1 by Livi yesterday hopefully the idea of Old Firm b teams in the lower leagues is dead and buried.
