  1. Another great athlete to add to the pool. Going by his history here it'll take him longer than his contract to get anywhere near fully fit. I'd quite like to see a starting midfield of Halliday, Davor, Nicholson and Slattery just to see what happens.
  2. Other than a few moments against Livi he did nothing. The 3-3 game at Pittodrie, the home game against Celtic and the last two games he was utterly hopeless. He's no pace and a history of knee injuries. He was overweight when he joined as well so you can't even say he's a good pro.
  3. I don't want us to sign guys who we know aren't up to the required standard because we've already watched them struggling for 6 months. Halliday and Nicholson are both well past it. They weren't good enough between January and May and they won't be any better next season. O'Donnell is going to be next and that'll be another one.
  4. So what games he did play well in other than Livi?
  5. A guy who looked good against Livi and useless against everyone else.
  6. A player so shite we made him a coach is a new low. Kettlewell, Ricky Foster and Obika as coaches. Davie Martindale is staring to look like Carlo Ancelloti.
  7. Mugabi played at the heart of the defence in the away wins against Rangers and Hearts and the draw at Celtic Park. He was immense in all three games. There is no way we are going to sign two better players for that central role. People want to talk about errors but he made far fewer stupid errors this season than McGinn or SOD. If Bevis stays we are looking at needing a new player for the central position and someone better than Blaney for the left hand side. I think it's pretty clear now that Kettlewell has no intention of overhauling the team and is scared to sign players because he know's he not up to the task.
  8. Now it's confirmed we are wasting tens of thousands if not a 6 figure sum on Andy Halliday anyone at the club or Society who give us any pish about low budgets or shortfalls should be tar and feathered. It's actually funny that they are too feart to announce that they will still be paying Obika next season. McGinn is absolutely done, the idea that he might be here for another two years is mental. Kettlewell is actually thick enough to start with the exact same defence that only kept 3 clean sheets in 41 games. This season he got the good will from his initial KVV led turnaround. That's well and truly gone and if we keep the same shitty form with no Livingston there as a cushion we need to get shot of him at the first opportunity.
  9. That really strengthens us.
  10. No one is saying he's bigger than the club. You are being overly dramatic. Even in his horror show of a season he's still score 5 goals in 1198 minutes so 239 minutes per goal which is better than some players who have had good seasons like Spittal, Mandron or Bruce Anderson. There's no reason to think that he's lost his ability because Derek McInnes decided to stick with the players who had already done well for him.
  11. Why are we mugs? We got one good season and one unbelievable season out of him then a big transfer fee. I'd take him back no bother. He's a confidence player and he likes it here. We would be mad not to do it if his wages are realistic. It's not like he's been shite at Killie he just hasn't played. 218 minutes over 13 sub appearances.
  12. It's not really picking Jack over him. Clarke has made it clear that the attacking midfield roles are for McGinn, Armstrong, McTominay and Christie. He should be an ideal squad player due to his goal threat but Clarke isn't interested in that. He even resents having to pick Shankland. As for Turnbull it's either an attitude problem or he's incapable of doing the running the modern game requires. I think we will see him back in Scotland before long, Campbell as well.
  13. Rangers want Kelly to be their back up goal keeper because it gives them extra players in their European squad due to him coming through their academy. The Celtic story that was planted will just have been to make it palatable to Rangers fans when they sign him ie 'he can't be that bad if Celtic were looking at him as well'.
  14. He was a major part of a defence which kept 3 clean sheets in 41 games. He's not good enough and we need the wages for new players. Age is undefeated. If it wasn't Tommy Coyne and Faddy would still be playing for us.
  15. Casey has been decent since he came back from his injury. McGinn is finished, too many errors and can't compete physically. The top priority has to be get to someone to play in the middle of the three.
  16. Andy Halliday sneaking onto the squad list is a sickner. Lennon Miller should be looking to get out of Fir Park as soon as possible as he's playing with compete duds who will drag him down with them.
  17. We have offered deals to Kelly, SOD, McGinn, Slattery and Nicholson. Halliday has a deal as well. The 46 hours between the full time whistle on Sunday and now were the highlight of the season.
  18. That's been a rumour for a while. McCrorie will be looking for first team football.
  19. 31 years old and pish. Ticks all the boxes for Kettlewell.
  20. I think the benefit to him comes from getting the club on the cheap and being able to produce a docuseries at minimal cost. The increase in value for his production company is far greater than the money he would be putting into us. McMahon's crackpot plan involves basically giving him the club for free so it's no real surprise he's enthusiastic.
  21. The question is why did we commit to 18 months with a player who had barely played for a year? Halliday seems like a sensible guy on the radio. If Kettlewell has anything about he'll sit down with him, show him his stats and explain that it's miles off what's required and he won't be a part of the first team squad next season regardless of his contract status.
  22. Looking at the goals the first one is a good ball and we are slow to close it down but Clark connects with it on the 6 yard line exactly where Kelly was standing 2 seconds earlier. Second one is incredibly dumb from McGinn but when he heads the ball Kelly is standing in the exact spot where the St Johnstone player scores from and again he goes into reverse gear for no reason at all. People blaming Bevis for that one are it. Our goal is a great finish from Moses. He definitely has something about him or at least more than Obika and Shaw. That's him matched their combined league goals in 35 fewer appearances.
  23. Barmack's on Twitter getting his hoop licked by the usual suspects so it's obviously still ongoing.
