Why? The club's finances are sustainable, the manager has a budget that allows him to compete for Top 6 and the Well Society has £700,000 in reserves and has a charge on the club of £900,000. If individual members want to put more money in no one is stopping them but there's no pressing need at the moment to lean on the membership for more funds.

If the proposal is shit then what's the point? If the Well Society board is split then the next steps will be complicated. These sort of repercussions are why it was a stupid idea to let Jim McMahon run about trying to give away a football club that he doesn't own.

He was meant to be back up this season and played every game because Kettlewell decided it was the best use of our resources to bring in a guy in his 30s who has broken every bone in his body on a short term deal plus FIVE u21 players on loan at wingback. And the Australian no hoper. So seven short term deals to cover two positions. Genius at work.... Get shot of him and use the money sign someone younger on a two year deal to give us some consistency.

Spencer started well but got dragged down by playing out of position. Davor wouldn't get a game for any other team in our league, Livi have three better midfielders than him. His one attempt at playing a forward pass yesterday missed by about 25 yards. Vale hasn't looked like scoring a goal apart from a couple of injury time goals when County and Livi had chucked it. He's a good athlete but not much of a footballer.

We need 8 new starters. Only Miller, Casey and Bair are good enough to be considered first choices. Blaney, Paton, Davor and Moses are squad players. That's why we need to let McGinn, Slattery, O'Donnell and Halliday go so we can use the wages to bring in the quality we need. We can't keep on passing money away on guys who aren't good enough to start.

The drop off in quality after Miller went off was noticeable. Paton was completely pointless and Nicholson hopefully played his way out any deal we might have offered. The St Johnstone keeper knew exactly where Bair was going to put the penalty because he's taken the same pen 4 times in a row now. He should try practicing shooting into the other corner over the summer.

Spittal has that one figured out. He's not made a tackle since the start of March.

He does seem to have a real blindspot judging players on their fitness. Halliday looks more like a guy you'd see smoking a snout outside a bookies than a professional footballer yet we gave him an 18 month deal. Wilkinson, Obika, Halliday and Soare were all miles off it when Kettlewell signed them.

We have played 30 games against Premiership teams who aren't Livi or County and won 5. It's been a horrible season.

1 game until we are hopefully shot of half of these clowns. Unless we are playing Ross County or Livi they are utter dross.

It's impossible to get injured as a linesman. Not having that at all. I had a broken ankle last year and could still have done it on my crutches.

If you are bringing up a single allegation against Motherwell to deflect from 80 odd convictions against a child abuse network operating inside Celtic Park then i'd say true colours are really on show.
