One goal that enabled United to finish above us.
-
He'll just go in the huff and down tools until we let him leave. Burrows in his wisdom decided to let Tony Watt go to a rival for a pittance. The precedent is set and that short term thinking will cost us every time a player hits form in the future.
-
Tbf I forgot Moult and Arrons blessed us with the presence of their shattered cartilages to drag it down even further. 12 months ago Burrows was telling anyone who would listen we were going with a smaller, higher quality squad......
-
It would be great to see Van Veen playing with players the quality of Murphy, Law, Humphrey, Faddy and Higginbotham. His supporting cast of Shields, Obika, Mandron, Morris, Spittal, McKinstry, Efford and Tierney has to be the worst group of attacking players we have ever assembled.
-
The number he wants to focus on is his passing accuracy. 66% so far this season. Stinking.
-
If it's against the Old Firm then Fatwa.
-
According to Whoscored.com he gave the ball away 20 times out of 55 involvements. 9 duff passes. 7 duff crosses. 3 shite touches. And caught in possession once. He also had the trademark shite shot from outside the box that he hits every single game and never scores. Kettlewell seems to think he's our main man though.
-
Considering how shite his team mates are it's a minor miracle.
-
Aitchison did nothing. He hasn't kicked a ball since he joined. I was talking about McKinstry suddenly being good enough for an appearance when the manager needs pulled out the shit.
-
His tactics are basically the same as Alexander's. Cede possession to the opposition and hope we score our chances.
-
McKinstry got the Lionel Ainsworth treatment today when the manager comes running to the good player he's frozen out when he needs rescued. He showed more in 5 minutes today than Aitchison has since he arrived. A better manager would have given him a run out last week and improved our chances of winning today.
-
They are pish. It's 1 win, 1 draw, 1 defeat this season and in all three games we have missed easy chances.
-
The wheels came off for Hammell when Van Veen bottled 5 chances at home to Dundee United..... Kettlewell was utterly clueless in that second half.
-
KVV hat trick is the bet tomorrow.
-
People in Beijing were locked down for far less time than we were in Lanarkshire. You are right about the spending though. I looked on Transfermrkt and none of the clubs are paying significant fees. £1.8m net spend for the entire league when I looked.
-
We played a 5-4-1 in the second half today with Spittal and Paton trying and failing to support Van Veen. He would have been an improvement over either of them. Aitchison and Mandron also aren't exactly setting the heather on fire whereas McKinstry has our second best goals per minutes.
-
The manager killed the game and changed the formation today to give his boy Paton a run about. It's not about the formation. McKinstry is clearly a better player than guys who are getting minutes for us but he is miles out the picture. And for the hard of reading the comparison isn't between McKinstry and SOD but the fact that the manager is happy to significantly weaken the team to give SOD an appearance and win bonus but McKinstry who would strengthen us is frozen out.

Money from being in Europe allowed us to sign players to keep us up. Getting Europe is always a positive.
-
Stephen O'Donnell gets on every week without fail to pick up a win bonus despite Max being the far better player but McKinstry gets the cold shoulder despite our lack of attacking options and him being our second top scorer. Who's cornflakes did he piss in?
-
It's perfect conditions for us to play some nice football today but I'm slightly worried about Nouble up against McGinn and Butcher.
-
I bet Davie Martindale could do a good karaoke version of 'Lawyers, Guns and Money'.
-
They finished bottom.

Wee Harry must be due to sign for St Mirren this summer.
-
You can already see the classic Motherwell career ahead of him where he will get an extension by virtue of not being totally pish but whenever we hit a sticky patch he'll be the first one out the door on the basis that he contributes very little. Craig Reid. Robbie Crawford. Riki Lamie. Josh Law. It's a big club.
