There were a few very positive signs yesterday. Casey looks like a real battler which is exactly what we need right now. Max J is a great out ball for us. Goss and Spittal kept it simple and worked a lot harder. KVV looked up for it and was trying to scrap Carson twice in the first 20 minutes which is always a good sign with him, you want him squaring up to people rather than sitting on the ground looking morbid. Butcher had some dig but also some compusure at points. Obika was comicly bad and the Furlong looks miles out his depth but hopefully that will be addressed for Sunday.

I've never seen a player caught in possession as much as Slattery. He's got another year but hopefully he doesn't fancy the Championship and fucks off.

I've not really being paying attention but is the loss not largely due to the free season tickets? Which were paid for by the insurance payment relating to the Covid period of cancelled and closed door games?

I think McGinn will do a job for us at left back until the end of the season and we have O'Donnell as well who can play both sides. Max Johnston looks more of a threat going forward than either of the two of them and seems to have the engine and the running ability to get up and down the park. If we have McKinstry attacking from wide left then having an attacking right back and more defensive left back makes sense.

Hopefully this is the one time we make an exciting signing and he comes good. Claret and Amber Kagawa. If the SFA are having to give everyone work permits so that Celtic can sign half the J League we should be looking to bring in a Brazilian in the summer just to create a bit of interest. You could probably find better players than Morris and Shields in a fives league there.
