  1. It sounds like McKinstry put it on a plate for Mandron. He's stepped up a level in terms of end product since the WC break. If he can work on his crossing and composure around the box there is a very good player there for us.
  2. This is a huge game tomorrow. If we lose i'd expect to see Kettlewell in the dugout for Arbroath.
  3. 23 goals in 98 appearances in League One over three seasons. As far as our recent signings go that's not bad. These two guys are coming in with the lowest bar possible. Contribute more than Moult, Arrons, Shields and Morris.
  4. Forgetting our performance surely if a player suffers a head injury so severe that he is unable to stand up and convulses violently he should be assesed by a doctor?
  5. Why would Hammell have contacts? He was running our academy, transfers were never a part of his job. You get contacts from doing business. You would be as well asking why Riki Lamie doesn't have contacts He got the job because he got off to a good start and the candidates who applied were very poor. We have a head of recruitment and a CEO who has years of experience dealing with agents and signing players. They should have stepped up.
  6. Hartley was superb in his final season leading up to the Covid stoppage when we were sitting in 3rd with loads of clean sheets.
  7. The slope of the park had to be fixed for VAR to work with the offside cameras.
  8. The mini goalie almost got up to the bar there.
  9. Liam Kelly bottling it again. Give Oxborough an opportunity.
  10. The area McKinstry scored from against McGregor.... So Spittal hits it.
  11. We'd have been as well running a raffle for a fan to play centre forward as starting Shields.
  12. We had the best pitch in the country last season then spent £2 million on it to make it compliant with VAR. Livi and Killie won't spend a penny on their pitches that disgrace the league but we spent a fortune on a perfect pitch to avoid upsetting anyone at Hampden, Ibrox or Celtic Park.
  13. Our budget included spending 2 million quid on stadium renovations we didn't need. If we don't have the money to put a competent team on the park in a year which is sure to be our all time highest expenditure then heads should roll.
  14. Two nil up against ten men. Take Shields off, put one of the midfielders on. It's not difficult.
  15. Hammell has three more games. Lose at Ibrox. Lose at Livi. Then lose at home to Hibs and he'll resign. No subs until 85 minutes. A fucking shambles. Connor Shields on for 90 minutes doing nothing but losing the ball and getting skinned. He got a pig in a poke with Arrons and Moult but at the end of the day even if Burrows signed them he's responsible and bringing back two busted flushes has killed his managerial career before it got started. Liam Kelly can go to Ibrox anytime as well. A kid on goalie who lets us down again and again.
  16. Morris on the bench. He'll be gutted he didn't manage to get himself sent off against Celtic and might need to run about a bit over Christmas.
  17. I think this game being off suits us. Hopefully we have some bodies in for the rearranged fixture.
  18. 4 nil against that line up isn't a bad result. We have a few big games before the window opens. Our results in December and signings in January will make or break us.
  19. Max was good going forward first half. Second half he struggled and if he played in the league for us teams would target him. Second half Iceland changed tactics to account for the fact that Scotland had nothing on the left hand side and neither Smith or Doak were tracking back and got their two goals to win the game. Scott Gemmill shown up as a clown again but him and Billy Stark seem to be in jobs for life. Despite that it was a good game and Scotland had the chances to be out of sight. Doak and Morrison were stand outs and if Doig and Ramsay were available they would have won easily.
  20. There's no mystery to why we are struggling. All our forwards apart from KVV are injured/rotten.
  21. I sit in the second last section of the East and both stairways were full of people standing during both games and the sections looked overcrowded as well. With Rangers Euro run it was the same thing. Every stairway was packed during the match, there were thousands extra in the ground for the QF and SF. There's obviously a dodgy way of getting into certain grounds that's getting exploited.
  22. The update mentions Sky but I don't think that they are showing it. And regardless of that you don't get an extra payment for hosting a televised league match.
  23. It probably makes sense if you work for a football club and want an extra day off but it's inconvient for supporters.
