Superward, that's not right. Both Marvin & Nathan Thomas had 1 year options, making Marvins contract a 2 1/2 year deal and potentially Thomas' a 18 month deal.

A suppose 4 points out of 6 is a good haul , but can't help thinking we blew a great chance to take 6/6. Johnson was the best on show, but I thought Erwin was really poor, and McDonald was just ok. Pearson had a pretty mediocre game too. I thought Straker was a million miles better than he has been in the last few games. Thought Long got beat far too easily at the goal.....was there a small deflection? If not, you really shouldn't get beat at the near post.

He's a right back, not a left back, but yes, would rather have him than Straker.

Lee Erwin has battled back from a cruciate injury to be back in contention for the first team too. So if anyone was to drop out of that list it would probably be Bob or Ainsworth.

After being a season ticket holder for 26 out of my 32 years on this planet, losing my Dad, and having two young kids put paid to regular attendance, however once a diehard always a diehard, and after watching that game I think it is time to regularly start taking my 3 year old to the games. Supporting Motherwell is a privilege....and a Rollercoaster more often than not, but by jings (as my Grandad used to say)......WHAT A TEAM. The last few years have been simply sensational. Best of the Rest 3 years running. UNBELIEVABLE. In true Motherwell style you can't help but feel disappointment is just round the corner, however I'm going to milk this win for a good few days to come. WE ARE MOTHERWELL!

Think Ainsworth up front will be more dangerous than a half fit and slow McFadden. Ainsworth can hold the ball up, get in behind and fire in shots from deep. It will either be a master stroke or a blunder......only time will tell.

He's actually 1/2 an inch taller than Goram was, and he had a pretty good career (admittedly not so much for us).
