  1. i'm getting fed up with the fascination about crosses into the box?? It would be fine if we had someone on the end of these crosses but we don't. Last week Tanner in particular just swung the ball in aimlessly all day.....no-one within 10yrds of the ball. These can also be described as stray passes!!
  2. I'd say the same with Fisher, I thought he looked good when he came on and gave their defence problems. I really hope Robinson goes down the line of playing with him rather than Bowman. The guy gives his all but he just doesn't have it for this level.
  3. Not understanding the Tanner love?? I thought he was poor today. Him, Rose and mchugh were our worst performers imo... reasonably happy with most of the performances but delivery in general was poor and finishing was appalling. After a bit of a shaky start Cadden was our best player by a mile I thought!!
  4. We should really be looking to get started with a win against this mob!! Their pre season has been shambolic, They have had 2 competitive games against a team of postmen and civil servants who beat them, they've had a couple of friendlies and Their manager is in over his head!! We have to be more match ready than them!! 2-0 'Well
  5. Definitely disappointing, I think Erwin will be back as a better player than he was with us and will do well at Killie. To quote him, he's a "class above" what we have up front apart from Moult.
  6. It's to do with the wrestler!! Only in the west of Scotland can it be spinned into a 'whit school did you go to' ?nonsense argument!! As for the picture supplied? That looks like Glen Michael? That must've been taken during his spat with palladin on cavalcade!!
  7. He's a poor mans Joe Carson..... I jest, McManus is a decent fit for us, watched a hell of a lot worse than him in my time.
  8. We should drug test him when he arrives back. If he has been taking all that shit it'll still show up in his system. I'm pretty sure in regular employment it's potentially a dismissal. I'd think as he's supposedly an athlete he should be sacked to set an example.......... and also get him off our payroll, it's a cruel game Jacob mate, see you!!
  9. Or in our case a busted urinal with pish all over the place!!
  10. I hate pre-season friendlies......I rarely go to them. I remember going to one at Stirling Albion before and witnessing John Hendry's first ever game for us..........he was utterly dire that game and look how he turned out???......utterly dire!! Using this example maybe I should pay more weight to friendlies!!
  11. I'm not convinced? He's wearing a shell suit, these were out circa 1987-91, also (i think?) reebok football trainers (out around 91-93) That boys looks like a young teenager.......Tommy Boyd....as he was called then, was a first team regular even as early as '87!!! I don't think its him.... I think its a troubling picture of a random child in a toilet!! Does your source have a PVG??
  12. Weird picture?? what is he doing? Is he in a toilet?
  13. I heard that as well from another source, health and safety issues...Murrayfield was mentioned!!
  14. Absolutely delighted with them at Fir Park first day!! Brilliant!! Ideal opportunity to pump a team of Columbian and Mexican misfits before they get a foot hold in the Scottish game......get into them!!
  15. Paul Slane was one of the best youngsters i've ever seen at Motherwell. Such a waste that he was blessed with a brain of a Toad. If he had any sort of pride in himself or half decent attitude he could have had a very good career in the game.....cest la vie, he's not the first and certainly wont be the last to do the same!! With regards Thomas, I know someone who supports QOTS who had said he was excellent last year?? contrary to what has been said on this forum? It would be nice to see him come back with a bit more strength and a final product but I for one am not sure he will. Time will tell, would love to be proved wrong!!
  16. £300k with a sell on.........thanks Ben, cheers for your efforts......bye!!
  17. Go as far as saying I HATE the away kit, ugly!! Really like the home kit tho!!
  18. I'd like to see us get someone like Paul Dixon at left back, solid defender, decent going forward. I watched Dundee Utd a few times last year and he was one of the few glimmers of hope they had. He's out of contract and i doubt money would be an issue. A Goalie would be first on the priority list tho.
  19. Hopefully Bowman will be on the conveyor belt of failure out the door now Fisher has arrived. Anytime I seen the guy he impressed me last year, hopefully we can get something out him. All the best Big Eck!!..... Oh no, we used to have another Big Eck

    Lionel Ainsworth

Love wee Lionel, cracking wee guy and a very talented player on his day........also has a cracking punch on him, just ask Moshni. hope he stays but I think he's offski.
  21. As much as I think Robinson was a cheap option appointment, I don't think he's had time to be judged properly, I don't believe he was given enough time at Oldham either, although he did buy Josh Law which should trigger alarm bells on his judgement. If we stay up I think he should be given time next season to see who he gets rid of and who he picks up......unless there's any footgolf videos at pre season then he should be sacked immediately!!
  22. We deserve to go down. Worst home record in the league, a defence who are the worst i've seen in C&A and a team with zero confidence looking more defeated week after week. Absolutely no chance we will beat Accies next week...team of losers with no fight. Utterly depressing........looking like we'll be visiting a few new grounds next year with a shot at the Petrofac.
  23. I'm pretty sure Paul Kinnaird had a chronic gambling problem which was one of the reasons he was punted from Dundee Utd. He had tapped so many of his teammates for money that they spoke to McLean to have him shifted........and of course who would it be easier for Jim to deploy this excrement to.......yip, his unknowing wee brother!! I further believe Kinnaird continued to do the same at Fir Park and received an even worse fate by being sent to St Mirren. At St Mirren he teamed up with another gambling deadbeat in Frank Mcgarvey and I believe they both ended up with gangsters after them!! Wonderful tales of wasted talent.......don't you just love 'em!!
  24. I'm guessing it's not joe mcbride from the 60s as he was one of the finest centre forwards the club ever had. I'd have a wild guess it is joe McLeod the guy means from the 90s. He was particularly shite!!
  25. Have to agree, really difficult ball to deal with. Granted Samson didn't cover himself in glory there but Heneghan let Garner peel off him easily. For me your centre half should be at least able to move his feet better and get some form of head on it, even just to deflect it.
