Stephen Welsh picked up a bad looking injury last night, Swansea fans have been raving about him. Less so Elijah, pretty much a case of “he’s not good enough and too small and weak” screaming from their fans

Lucas for me, thought he was excellent and his penalty was immense

Yeah I agree, I think he’s a very good manager and has proved that at Raith and Falkirk with the limited resources he’s had. People look at his age and sadly how ridiculous he looks at the side of a park and there is a snobbish attitude. I do think at 64yrs old though that he’s found his home at Falkirk and I don’t ever see him leaving there unless he’s sacked.

In your measured opinion what would you do when we sack him? Do we revert to an older style British approach or do we fish abroad again and hope the analytics catch us a good one? Just curious to know what managers you like apart from Del.

I thought Said was outstanding in the first half. Even though he was booked it was crazy taking him off. I did vote for Hodge though as I thought he played very well tonight.

I have to admit I’m the same boat. I do see some positives and that performance tonight to a point was good. But defensively we are so poor, it doesn’t need to be an art form, they just have to be determined and tuned in to attack and win the ball when it’s crossed into the box, get your body in and block people. It’s just concentration and they turned off at the most important part of the game tonight….utterly infuriating

Yet again….average Ball into the box and no fight to go and win it im away to bed

To be fair I think Hodge is having his best game for us. He’s doing well. not sure I’m happy with Said coming off. His booking might be playing a part in that.

It’s not even clinical finishing it’s just so weak the defending, there’s no strength in there at all. A bit of muscle against us completely throws our defence,. we have a really poor defence, a goalie who is too wee, we persist in playing an average midfielder as our right back, longelo will never be a defender, he doesn’t have that instinct. JGR has no positional sense and it leaves Moorman who I think is a weak Liam Gordon…. And is sadly the best of a bad bunch.
