  1. Not to put a downer on a good night and 500 top class fans but the 100 that piled onto the park and bust an advertisement board need a boot in the baws. Thats a fine/potential ban coming!! We can’t be acting holier than thou when other certain fans do it when we are doing the same thing.
  2. Outstanding… I didn’t expect it. Playing the biggest side in Finland on a surface worse than the Bothwell Road Pitz. we should have nothing to fear at fir park…. A full house and some players back…. And hopefully no more out injured
  3. My initial feelings were I was a bit sorry for him as he has been handed a sh1tty stick, an almost impossible job considering we’ve lost our best manager, best players, and our most experienced players are all injured and we have a brand new team. to say he’s surprised me is an understatement, he’s excellent in front of the media, probably better than jens and he seems to have had buy in from the players. Even Longelo was hugging him and laughing on Sunday? I’ve not ever seen Manny smile since he arrived at the club. of course I’m sure we’ll have a few dark days but I like the guy. I was worried that he was going to be a Swedish Cathro but he was a bit about him.
  4. Gutting to lose arguably or best performers in Williams and Said for tonight. My hope is we hold on to anything really and be at full strength next week for the return leg. rip an arm off for a draw or a narrow defeat to keep it all alive. fkn Astro!!! Shouldn’t be allowed.
  5. I think Elgin might unfortunately be his level. It’s a sort of Barry Maguire situation. Maguire seemed to also be a great lad and hard worker who hung about for longer than he probably should. Both of them can play but both aren’t at that premier league standard in my view. Love to be proved wrong but that’s nearly 2 years I’ve watched him now.
  6. I get the impression with Ross that he’s a really hard worker and a really good kid to work with. This might be the reason he’s still around the first team and has been tried in about 4 or 5 different positions (none in my view where he has shone) from what I’ve seen in Olly Whyte so far, he’s a better option than Ross. Whyte has played in defence and midfield so far and looks to me a more rounded player. I can’t help but think if we punted Ross out on loan 2 years ago he’d have either came back a better player ….. or would now be plying his trade at Albion Rovers.

  8. Good point, she is a very screechy voiced bint as well. Some may say, they are a perfect match.
  9. And Richard Foster has gone to the top of my early season hit list after his pop at the fans and players celebrating after the win. Apparently we’ve won the league already….. bitter little b@…d!!! rubbish player and even worse coach.
  10. When Chris Sutton mentions this and questions it, that’s when we really know there’s an issue.
  11. That’s a potentially phenomenal trip. Flight to Basel and about an hour from there. its meant to be a beautiful city and decent fans.
  12. For someone who is unfortunately cup tied for this due to work, is there any news on if a TV station is showing it in the UK?
  13. Has to be Ibby but some really solid performances there today. Moorman, Williams, Fadinger, Oscar and I really like the goalie… I think he’s a definite upgrade on Ward. a couple more signings in and a few guys back to fitness and it could be another good year.
  14. I think ive now watched that 2nd goal about 20 times, what an absolute classic. Even the celebration of him running to the bench with the Well fans in the background…. Epic!! Fast becoming one of my favourite Well players of the past 30 years…. Love the wee loonball!! I did not expect that at all today, would have been delighted with a point. absolutely brilliant… delighted for the fans, players and manager… on to Helsinki
  15. Or the St Johnstone defence. These games this weekend are really heartening. If St Mirren are the best on show so far i feel confident we might be ok this season.
  16. I’d have wanted Maswanhise in before Vogts but he can’t be fully fit? I’d even have Lowry before him too but at least we have those two on the bench to change for Vogts.
  17. I can’t be doing with Robinson, Kerr and Craigan. After last years motherwell digs from robinson and his cronies and Craigan’s anti-JBA’s take on his tactics, id quite like to see them all fail up there.I take no enjoyment from their win v Hearts.
  18. Sule has been awful which has made me happy
  19. If we get 1 point from this game and get out of Edinburgh without any injuries, I’ll be delighted. Currently watching Falkirk v st Mirren and it’s absolutely dross.
  20. He is really good with the ball at his feet, I know that’s why we got him but he is “super” confident doing it….. which does scare me a little as goalies all think they are better players than they are. I’ve not seen anything so far to make me worry too much though, apart from his height. keeper’s are always liable to have a nightmare, even the world class ones. I think he seems to have settled well so touch wood he continues to improve
  21. Both played in pre season games last year and both played in the league opener against Rangers
  22. Not at all, just comparing my feelings at the end of the LC stage last year to effectively the same time this year. just my view, everyone has one 👍
  23. I’d rip your arm off for a draw right now. Be delighted to start with a point at Easter road.
  24. Did you not have a feeling last year something was good? I know I did and the guys I go to the game did. It felt as if something exciting was happening. Even with the occasional lapses in the LC games there’s was something there. I don’t get that this year…. I hope I am wrong as I do like Alfred and I do think a couple of the signings, Moorman, Reich and Williams look decent. time will tell and it’s probably not right to doubt anything until half a dozen games in. I’ll just hope for the best.
  25. I thought our experienced bods from last year pulled us through both games, Priestman, Fadinger, Sparrow, Said I felt have been our top performers. RCC has done ok as well but can be a bit frustrating. we are definitely short of 3 or 4 players and I think the Hibs game could be a struggle. An advantage could be the opposition still thinking we are exactly the same as last season (seen loads of posts from loads of other club fans suggesting this) so hopefully Hibs might give us too much respect and sit off us. We are nowhere near even half the level of last season I’m afraid…. At the moment anyway. If we can pick up a draw on Saturday I’d be delighted
