SteelmaninOZ
Andy Goram....I fancied his missus
steelman1991
Obviously only saw her from a distance (ie Oz) - her face had more marks than a German bank
MelvinBragg
While Goram had a few spectacular moments in a Motherwell jersey, he was a shadow of his former self when we saw him. For guys my age (mid 30s), it comes down to Randolph or Dykstra. For me Randolph just shades it. Although as Yabbas points out, like a lot of people I still have a lot of man love for big Sieb... Malky79
Big Sieb had flair, not often you get that in a keeper he edges the steady eddie that is Randolph. Not a huge amount in it though, Randolph maybe let in one or two fewer soft ones but depsite games like sunday still less of the truly spectacular. numpty
Sir Ally Maxwell just for 91 and thats it Surprised he hasn't had much of a mention up to now... I'd certainly take him ahead of Sieb, at least on his 90/91 form. Had a great couple of seasons for us.
Malky79
Aye to be fair to Maxwell the whole cup season and probably season before he was pretty good, getting on fringe of Scotland set up and bit of a stand out has to be said.
well-army
Super Ally Maxwell was the best i've seen at FP Closely followed by big Sieb and Randy.
Well_Jaggy
Stevie Kirk was great in Goals.
Kmcalpin
Ally Maxwell may be had a couple of good seasons but in the late 80s his form was less than impressive, and he struggled to oust Cammy Duncan from the first team.

Ya Bezzer!
Randolph hasn't even played a full season and he's the best we've ever had for some! Dykstra first, Maxwell second, for me. Then you have Howie, Ruddy. If Randolph maintains his form he could go into the second tier at the end of the season but not before. We've had other guys that had good individual season's among a mixed bag (Marshall, Goram, Billy Thomson, even, help ma boab, Graeme Smith). KirkySuperSub
I really don't get the plaudits that are always given to Dykstra... I always thought he was a bit of a bombscare myself. Just my opinion.
cambo97
I really don't get the plaudits that are always given to Dykstra... I always thought he was a bit of a bombscare myself. Just my opinion. He was but was also a 'character' which helps. He came for everthing in the 18 yard box no matter how crowded it was or how many people were in front of him. He used to get to about half of them. It made a big differennce that his defence was the best in the PL at the time.
KirkySuperSub
True... I just remember him when he first joined us, bolting out to the 18 yard line trying to collect every cross... And me as a young pup, who knew fuck all about football and still to this day doesn't, thinking, seriously, what the fuck...?!
