MaDMaCKeM
Nothing as good as some of the stuff posted above. I have had a soft spot for Motherwell since 1973ish. I am a Sunderland fan - you may have guessed by my nick. Anyway my Dad worked away in Glasgow when I was a kid. I used to go to Roker Park and hear the chants of Celtic/Rangers from the Fulwell end, so I asked my Dad to get me a scarf next time he was in Glasgow. He bought me a Motherwell scarf! (I still have it somewhere safe - just wish I knew where!) It took me fifty years to finally visit Fir Park and see a game. I've now been twice, here's a few shots from my last trip up, family day V Ross County 3-3. My first game was last season the 3-0 win over Livingston. Hope to be up soon, I have a mate who follows St Mirren and we hope to get to the next meet.

Happy Dosser
This was the 'Well select team for Charlie Aitken's testimonial. Great to see Dave Mackay (top right) in the claret and amber. Betcha no-one knows the top second left, the guy who looks slightly puzzled at being at Fir Park. The lucky winner will get a ticket for the Kettlewell Institute series of lectures on the beautiful game.

dennyc
Hogg who then moved to Stenhousemuir and Australia? But if correct I'll leave it to you to suffer the SK lectures. Better not heckle him though.

A match report I read stated he had been freed by Hibs and signed by MFC for the testimonial game. BTW, I wouldn't heckle, merely interject 😇😇😇. Happy Dosser
This David Hogg reference to playing for us isn't reflected in his Wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davie_Hogg There was a Bobby Hogg who played for MFC but that was a little later. Somethin' ain't right.........
dennyc
Bobby Hogg (a winger)played a few games for us in 1967 before moving to Stenny then Australia, where he ended up being capped a good few times. Before us he played one game for Hibs The 1967 Testimonial against Rangers featured most of their Cup Winners Cup final side beaten by Bayern Munich. Roger Hynd (my PE teacher) being one of them. Wellnet gives Hogg summary. My first game was in 1966 but other than the name I cannot recall seeing Hogg play.
