Truthfully it is our last chance to prove the little guy can stand up to major tax fraud in the shape of Ranjurs and do it on the park where it wil emabarass them most. Ranjurs =Overpaid Crooked Bankers thats where there players came from.

Okay, I'm not quite sure what the OP is actually on about, but I figured this as good a thread as any to turn into the Rangers game discussion thread.

What im "on about" is its not a normal Well v gers game we tiurn up lie down and get stuffed. This time we are playing proven liars and cheats.

First post has been edited since originally posted which makes the subsequent replies look a touch odd.

In summary it was a bit of a rallying call.

Definetly a game we should be looking to win, more so to make up for todays loss and maintain or add to the gap between us and 4th spot! Rangers are definetly there for the taking, take confidence from what some teams have done to them in recent weeks to see they are definetly beatable!

You think that Motherwell players "lie down" to Rangers?

I would say to them yes they do and a lot more so in the last 10 to 15 years.

A story:

Me and my mates when Dixie Deans and Jumbo Muir were banging in goals for fun in Div 2 then 1

We used to get the train back from Motherwell with Dixie and share a wee 1/2 btl navy rum on the way back.

At every station (Kings park and so on) hordes of blue and greens getting off on.

c***s was his only comment.

Dixie was only interested in getting back to Paisley for his game of snooker.

A draw at the very best (and I'd be happy with that) however I do think they will beat us. 3-0 to Rangers and for them to look as good as they have been in quite a while. It's how it goes. Failing that we put in a plucky well organised performance and are unlucky to lose 2-1 to a lateish goal.

I'm not quite sure what that story has to do with todays squad, but I seriously doubt any of our players goes onto the park against either of the Old Firm thinking "yeah, I'm going to give up my win bonus so that Rangers/Celtic can get a win".

To even suggest that is ridiculous. In the past against Rangers we simply haven't been good enough on the day, which I'd put down to Rangers being a more physical side than Celtic. We've been steamrollered by them.

I'm not saying that's okay, because it isn't, and we seriously need to up our game against them, but to suggest our players lie down isn't on to be honest.

Got to happen sometime. Got to beat them sometime. Why not now? Kilmarnock given no chance on Sunday, they beat Celtic. We completely horsed Herts, they go to Ibrox and win. It's a funny season, lots of strange results. Kilmarnock lose 3-6 at home to Inverness, 0-3 to Dunfermline both teams we've beaten comfortably at points as well. Just because Rangers have a great record against us for over a decade now doesn't mean it'll continue forever. Aye, we didn't play at all near like we can at Rugby Park, but perhaps we can get it together next week. And if you think we can't, is there really any point in you coming along next Saturday? Anything can happen. And does.
