July 31st or August 1st If we finish 4th - when do we enter the Europa Cup? Now if we get papped oot to Benfica do we drop into Europa Leage Play Off Round with games on 23rd and 30th August? A guaranteed four games in Europe would be brilliant! Don't know if it'll be Benfica but if we do get Champions league qualifiers then according to STV If either side goes out at the third qualifying round or play-off round stage, they will automatically parachute into either the Europa League's play-off round or group stages respectively. Just studied the UEFA website there seeing where beaten teams from the 3rd Qualifying and Play-Off Round of the Champions League have ended up..... And it's most definitely Europa League Play-Off Round and Group Stages respectively. RIDICULOUSLY EXCITING NEWS! We will be getting: Portugal Russia Ukraine Holland Turkey So most likely: Benfica / Braga Dynamo Moscow / CSKA Moscow Shakhtar Donetsk / Dynamo Kiev AZ / Twente / PSV / Feyenoord Besiktas / Fenerbahce And no we wont be seeded when we fall into the Europa at this stage, that is a common misconception.
