Haggischomper
Beeb match report yesterday showed a yellow and red card next to lasley's name. Not that the Beeb seems to know what the hell it is doing these days
BigWeegieDosser
First goal - clumsy tackle Second goal - slow reaction from Las Third goal - poor marking, slow reaction Fourth goal - Pearson was tracking to "steal" the ball, but was blocked by Hall Laing - looked as if he was breathing through his arse by half time. Red card - a needless clumsy tackle , like the petulant lunge of a tired and frustrated 37 year old, how could that be??? On the plus side we did look brighter with the introduction of Cadden and Hall. After being at the 20s final during the week, I would be interested to see Campbell given a run out next week in the absence of Lasley, thought he was outstanding . superward
Just watching Sportscene now. How is that a red card?! Yellow all day for me unless Lasley gets a straight red for something he said or did after the tackle
Waldo
Nice to see the goal coming from a good throw in, our first decent shy since 2005.

weeyin
Joe Wark was the last player I remember who could actually take a throw.
The African
Joe Wark was the last player I remember who could actually take a throw. Joe Wark was the complete aerial espionage as fullback. The only thing he couldn't do was get a cap for Scotland. I am still bitter about this injustice.

ONeils40yarder
I usually go for a pie and a bovril when Hammell gets a throw-in...just so that I dont miss anything
sbcmfc
when hammell retires i fully expect a statue with him holding the ball above his head erected near the main stand touchline. At the Dundee United game at tannadice we got a corner and everyone was waiting on Hammell to take it, but he was on the bench.
sbcmfc
Thought the Lasley Red was a yellow all day, never a red, the reaction of the Aberdeen players seems to have swayed it. Shinnie (who was one of the main complainants) committed a similar foul in the first half and didn't even get booked. (On mfc highlights, but not sportscene.) Yeah, think that's where the confusion arose as to whether it was 2 yellows. I suppose the TV view is that of Madden, so can only guess what the linesman saw. Don't think it ticked any of the boxes for a straight red though.
Yoshi-1991
There were worse tackles in that Dundee game last night and nobody was sent off.
Kmcalpin
The club is quite right to appeal. Given what happened beforehand, I think downgrading the punishment to a yellow card would the correct outcome. Shinnie's actions were a bit rich considering what he had done previously. You should get a straight red for using the word 'lino'

superward
Ironic since his reason for sitting in the main stand a couple of games ago was due to not wanting to get involved with the 4th official. Must be getting a reputation.
