I was speaking to a Morton fan on twitter about him, just a wee back and forth. He said this season his seems a lot fitter and plays on the right for them.

When I asked if he was still blowing out his arse after 30mins he said, "Last season aye, not this year."

They threw the game.

Newcastle and Brighton did the same yesterday.

Teams up the top of the Championship have little desire to go deep into the FA Cup as it is detrimental to the league form. Especially in Leeds case, playing Sutton on an artificial surface increases the risk of injury to the main first team players..

Promotion to the Premier League is worth what? Upwards of £100m to clubs like Newcastle, Brighton & Leeds Utd?

Clubs will get a total of £3.4m in prize money for getting from the 3rd Round to the Final. They'll get a wee bit more in TV money, gate money etc but it's not even in the same planet financially. The F.A Cup is no longer relevant for the top 30-40 clubs in England.

As put in the shoutbox Lee Clark looking at bringing Lee Erwin on loan to Kilmarnock.

Ojamaa heading to Dundee on loan from the Scotsman but also seen a story with Go Ahead Eagles confirming.

Not a former player but related to one, Jamie McCart on loan at Inverness, who have also brought in Bill McKay.

Getting the reserves to take a dive to a non league side is taking it a bit far though.

Never made a first team appearance for us but I was under the impression McCart was a youth player with us before moving to Celtic youth.
