Serious shift and such a great team performance.

Nice see the old guard McGinn and SOD get on the goal sheet and Sparrow getting his first for us.

Really enjoyed that bit going to lie lol.

And as for Miller I think we might get a fee dangled in front of us before the window closes he is utter class.

Our all-time home record against Hearts in the league:

P140 W56 L60 D24

Not many draws (17%). I hate this lot more than the bigot bros and would really love to beat them but I fear they will get the points today.

Absolutely delighted to have been proved wrong (again). Great result and a very good team performance. COYW.

On his showing so far, i think we could do a lot worse than try and extend Maswanhise's January contract till the summer. Would give us a little security knowing he'd be with us till the summer and someone wont just take him at the end of his short term deal.
He's been pivotal in linking us and gives us an "out ball" and add pace - take that away and we're lacking.

Tremendous upgrade on our work rate today versus previous games. Hopefully SK can keep them Putting that effort into every game. SOD was everywhere, his best game by far for a long time. We created a great number of chances today and the good thing is we still have plenty room for improvement. The addition of Watt and TJ helps us a lot also.

Did ye, aye ?

Aye didn't see that coming. Still pretty poor from open play but good set pieces are huge. It was a like a good Robinson performance where we won all the battles across the park.

We got a boost last season from playing teams coming back from Euro aways then struggled when we didn't have that advantage. We still definitely need a few players in to strengthen the squad.

I thought Ewan Wilson was immense today. He's pushed on and cemented that lwb position as his own.

Hey, an actual good performance!

First 60 minutes we totally dominated the match and then typically the worst thing we did in the match was double our lead.

After that we fall back, invite Hearts on to us, lose our shape and Hearts get back in it and it's not looking good.

Fortunately Hearts are pitiful in defence and gift wrap one for us to calm the nerves.

Good energy, good tempo from us today, lots of pressing that Hearts couldn't cope with, and a lot of players who have been underwhelming up till now had great games - O'Donnell, Zdravkovski, Halliday.

Watt and Maswanhise have added a lot since they were signed.  We could still be doing with more numbers getting into the box at times but we have an attacking out ball now.

Also Wilson has settled in and looks like a first team player and I thought Robinson was really good today.

What? No calling for the managers head this week?

I expect us to win 5-0 with quality of football not seen since Lambert and O'Donnell dovetailed in McLean's last season. Why? Because I'm missing the game. So if it comes to pass, thank me later...

Brilliant team effort today, Craig Gordon had 3 ridiculous saves to keep it respectable so it could quite easily have been 5-0 , Hearts were brutal.

No bad performances from anyone today, SOD was outstanding, we pressed hard apart from a 10 min spell after Hearts scored, Sunday football is great so far.

Probably yes, because we were 'pretty poor from open play' apparently.

At least he posted his grudging admission that we won, where as the other three posters of the apocalypse are clearly marked absent, as they always are when we win.

Well that was a welcome surprise today. I know we usually manage to record at least one win against Hearts every season but that was a lot more comfortable than anyone could seriously have expected beforehand. We actually looked like we could do damage as an attacking force today and we did. And we’ve gone from zero goals scored by our players in 90 minutes so far this season to three different scorers in one game. That’s quite a leap.

And if it hasn’t been for Craig Gordon it might well have been a far higher winning margin!

Wow.... an actual enjoyable performance to watch. Dare i say it, possibly our best showing at home in a good couple of years!

The new winger is a real danger man & adds a much needed outball & threat to us. We should try & lock him in now & while we are at it, ask Leicester if they have another one for the other side of the pitch.

The first hour we were in so much control, only Gordon keeping them in it. I did think the introduction of Fat Tony changed it a bit. Hes not fit enough to keep the press up that we had, need to see it again but my feeling was his labouring led to the Hearts goal.

We then wobbled but credit to the lads for not caving. Sparrow got that goal from sheer will chasing & pressing the ball down.

Great result, great performance. Mon the 'well!
