  1. Past hour
  2. Excellent post: this measure is shamefully vindictive because the SFA can't stand the truth and we all knew this was coming. At least the club seems to be considering some sort of legal challenge to it, which is to be welcomed. Until the clubs outwith the OF unite to oppose the authorities' incompetence and corruption, things will only get worse because the "powers that be" will consider themselves more and more invulnerable and unaccountable. I'm beelin' even before the season starts.
  3. Personally feel that the SFA have targeted us the wee club on a couple now . first Slattery and now this - like many have said - disgraceful
  4. McInnes ban should be longer than Watts (albeit I wholeheartedly disagree with Watts punishment.) His language was stronger, he inferred foul play, even if he didnt say it implicitly, and it was in reference to a game neither he nor his team were involved in.
  5. Naw she’d be your bawsie auntie.😂
  6. Today
  7. Indeed. And if he is not handed at least a four match ban the same as Watt then we need to be questioning it.
  8. Whit, they’re eating your dinner? I know we don’t pay a lot but ffs I’d have thought it would be enough for them to feed themselves.
  9. Apparently Gary Lineker was about to make a comeback with Inverourie grouse beater afc but the SFA said he’d get 4 match ban as well so the deals off
  10. Any comments made by anyone about refereeing decisions should be being highlighted by the club in regards to this. It doesn’t matter if it’s John McGinn or Derek McInnes or whoever. If someone else has made similar comments about match officials and isn’t hit with the same punishment as our player then we need to be asking serious questions in a very loud voice.
  11. Shocker, but hardly suprising as our club seems to be an easy target in the eyes of the SFA. How can our club be fined for stating the world reaction and that we should move on? The players union or whatever they are called need to get involved in this nonsense and defend their player. Football in this country is finished if spoken truths are more severly punished than reckless and dangerous tackles. All clubs officials and players should refuse all interactions with media. Will John McGinn get fined for his comnents?
  12. Im currently sitting having dinner at a local hotel and all 4 of Motherwell's new signings are also having said dinner!!!!!!!! Moorman is a bit of a unit
  13. Utterly ridiculous by the clearly corrupt old firm centric authorities for both banning a player for 4 games for “hurty words” and fine Well £5k, yet the team who’s supporters invade pitches and manager say similar “hurty words” get a slap on the wrist. Point of order to be noted is that the old firm authorities feel it is a lesser offence for hordes of your fans to invade multiple pitches, cause hundreds of thousands of pounds of damage to other teams stadiums, sweep, sweep nothing to see here, move along… I sincerely hope the club fight this scandalous result fully. This makes a further mockery of Scottish football across the world, first of all none of our clearly crap referees couldnt even get a place in what was one of the worst refereed World Cups in history and would I’m sure have fitted in wonderfully given the shocking and corrupted standard in show.
  14. Club have now released a statement about this saying they are extremely disappointed at the outcome of this and have asked for written reasons to explain it. Also that they will “liaise with solicitors on any next step”. I’m glad to hear it and also pleased to see a swift response.
  15. Another load of word salad and tired old patter from you as usual, but I prefer to actually look at things as they are. Rangers clearly have more clout than we do and indeed every other club outwith Celtic, but they are not on the same level as Celtic in terms of control, manipulation and running the game through bullying tactics. Certainly not today, in 2026. Derek McInnes has also been citied for comments he made about the very same incident that Elliot Watt has been “put in line” for speaking about. He made those comments on the night of the game whilst still the Hearts manager. I believe his hearing is next week. Now, if what you and the above poster are saying is true then the authorities will surely go easier on him now that he is Rangers manager? Yeah? So, if McInnes gets a touchline ban of anything similar or more than what Watt has been banned for then that would very much fly in the face of the idea that “both of them are equally culpable” and such like? I will watch with interest on this one.
  16. A spirited defence of your big club as usual, but both of them are two cheeks of the same arse, ie equally culpable of everything that is wrong with scottish football.
  17. Absolutely shocking Watt was just saying what everybody else was thinking , and still is
  18. Nope. That outlook is part of the problem and part of the reason why Celtic get everything their own way.
  19. Almost right, except it's run for the benefit of the Old Firm, not just Celtic.
  20. Regardless of whether Watt leaves or not we as a club should be appealing this or at least stating an intention to appeal it. While Watt is still our player we should be standing up for him otherwise it will keep happening with other players or employees who speak out and upset the apple cart around Celtic and the way they’ve got everyone dancing to their tune. Start by citing that the then Celtic manager got a lesser ban for comments about the same official in March 2024 and that that ban was subsequently reduced on appeal.
  21. Utterly ridiculous. Presumably we'll now see almost every club, player and manager punished for what they say and do after matches. Unless, of course, they happen to be at Celtic.
  22. He will be but that’s not the point here. The bigger picture is that Scottish football is run for the benefit of Celtic and Celtic alone and anyone who speaks up about it will be censored. Its absolutely scandalous the hold that club have over everyone in the game up here.
  23. Its a feckin embarassment for Scottish football, it would never happen with any of the ugly sisters players, the SFA are a disgrace, but the other clubs wont care so nothing will change.
  24. Its a wild ban, actually outrageous if you think about, luckily he will probably be serving it as someone elses player
