I was just gonna ask what the fans thought about that. Once Maswanhise goes the club could be sitting on between £10 to £14 million would the fans accept say £6 million being used to rebuild the main stand?

European games start to early for smaller teams where they have yet to start their league games. Alot of these teams are rebuilding as their players are cherry picked on the back of a good season. Seldom will these teams enter with a settled team.

Whilst expected the clubs approach to this pre season has been niave and shocking. Nowhere near enough incomming players. Perhaps we have written europe off as there is no way our squad is big enough to deal with europe and league. Money in bank is great, but we are back to stage 1 again, in having to rebuild and have at present a very weakened team that, looks at this point, will struggle at the bottom end of the league.

Aye. Comms from the club havent been great during pre-season. Of course some things need to be kept under wraps, like transfer negotiations etc, but simple things like who is fit and who isnt should be fairly straightforward. Also with the World Cup and everything else going on, media focus is elsewhere.

All they had to do was fix some plywood to the back of the existing seat legs, some foam padding and paint, and the seats would have a back and be comfy and compliant, and no doubt a lot cheaper than the plastic tat we got.

By the sound of some folks experience of the “new” seats in the POD stand, maybe the club should put a first aid kit under every one of them.

It would only be selfish if nobody else got them as well, re the new pod seats if the well shop started selling inflateable cushions they will do a roaring trade.

The bucket seats on the wings of the stand could not be used per Uefa. Apparently to be acceptable seats must have a back. So they took the chance to change the lot. Sadly the word 'upgrade' is not appropriate.

I predict 2 more signings before the HB game, both on the subs bench. Just guessing, not ITK.

I thought the POD seat upgrades were a UEFA requirement for the Euro games. I don't think we'd have been able to build a new stadium by next week.

If selling Watt enables me to get a recaro seat fitted in the POD then I’m all for it. Not that I want to sound selfish 😂

Well said, thats a bit of positive action that needs to be taken, as the only viable solution for the POD is to demolish it and rebuild it fit for purpose for the demands and needs of the modern game.
