  1. Today
  2. Why not? We're in the hunt, could strengthen, I'll still stand by the Motherwell mantra, not last, and not 2nd last
  3. To be fair, you do seem like a trouble maker that stweards need to keep an eye on... When we were relegated to the First Division, I used to get searched by the Polis at away grounds on a regular basis. Not sure why other than I often used to have a radio (for the half time scores) in my coat pocket.
  4. Hopefully, Stephen Welsh will be passed fit for Saturday. Concussion rules seem to be: 1) a graduated return to play protocol means that the player involved can't return to full training or match action for 7 days. 2) A more severe concussion would see a player ruled out for longer Source: Dundee Courier.
  5. Yesterday
  6. Having being victimised by security at Tannadice myself before, I'd like to to hear the Block E lads' version of events before arriving at any conclusion.
  7. Exactly this. We arent conceeding goals because we dont give the opposition easy ball. When a defence of SOD, Gordon, McGinn, Koutroumbis is keeping clean sheets after the evidence of last season, you have to take your hat off to the manager. Welsh & Longelo improve us playing out from the back, but they arent essential to the shape / structure, as can be seen from the consistency in performance despite squad rotation.
  8. It’s the effectiveness of the system, more than the individuals in the back four or the goalkeeper, that prevents goals being conceded.
  9. What strikes me is none of our defensive line are signed up for the new campaign - only 15 goals lost this season. Who deserves a new contract?
  10. Aye. The boy is still a class act. Even if he left Cardiff, there would be teams with deeper pockets than us in the queue to secure his services. He is much better than a League 1 player. More the pity.....
  11. I only saw the 2nd half, but he certainly look the part. Always making space, always time to find a man with a pass.
  12. He should be the first name on Cardiff’s team sheet. He’ll be back, but not anytime soon.
  13. Chelsea are back in front, so can we keep the rumour going 🤔
  14. Cardiff would be mad to let him go after that performance. Still oozes class.
  15. Let's just forget about any deal now
  16. Yep. He’s a clever player and we all know this.
  17. Who knew DT had that header in him?
  18. He's just scored a beauty to draw cardiff level, what a header.
  19. Turnbull is the only one in that Cardiff team with a footballing brain.
  20. The Stuart Kettlewell of fans. They either don't realise or don't care how even a very small number acting like that can undo all the great work the club and the Trust do for the community.
  21. English league cup is often where teams start players that normally don't get a game. So let's keep that rumour going!
  22. Turnbull starts tonight v Chelsea so somehow can't see him coming up here soon
  23. They were acting like arseholes at Tannadice. Their sense of entitlement saw them locked out the game because they because abusive to Stewards . Doesn't matter a fuck what you think of stewarding had they not acted like entitled arseholes they'd have got into the game. No doubt we'll get the persecution response of "heavy hands empty stands"
  24. Turnbull would be an ideal fit as a central attacking midfielder in JBA’s 4-2-3-1. That said, the rumour is probably complete bollocks.
  25. Oh I do love a rumour of previous Well stars coming back. Turnbull would be an outstanding addition - I think his style of play does suit us. Attack minded team who want to play football and carve their way through a team - yes please. I could see a loan being possible especially if they want to sell him with a year left on his contract. Appreciate there are other more pressing roles to solve but it cheered my well soul to think about Turnbull back home in the current set up.
  26. They are but then St Mirren play a totally different style of football than we do. We saw it here with Robbo. Get the ball forward quickly into the final 3rd. Win your second balls. Pepper the box with as many crosses as you can. Get your strikers to attack said crosses. Dont get me wrong, Id love to have a striker that was contributing more in the goals for column. Would Ayunga or someone like him be that guy? Would Maswanhise score the same number of goals in their team for example?
