Hopefully Willy Vogt will add some firepower up front. Welcome.
-
He's got my Vogt.
-
You can get cream for that 🤪🤪
-
Sounds like he’s a fence sitter
-
Willy is mainly a RW.

Swiss/Brazilian striker

Attacking signing incoming
-
Looks like new striker about to be announced
-
Great to have a signing in and in a definite position of need. Welcome to the Well! Now for some more.
-
Don't see any way round it if a manager and players do well...dont think players let their fitness drop the way they did in the past
-
Looks a good signing, wonder if this was an AJ signing or scouted by Daws
-
I thought he was Austrian? 🤪🤪
-
Happy with this signing. A much needed central defender who matches our style of play. Welcome to Fir Park Martin.
-
That’s our Welsh replacement and his stats look good. https://x.com/analysingtsp/status/2072799601145344063?s=46

Honestly think it'll be Monday before we here about any incomings as thats when the team are back from Denmark Keeping in mind by this point last season ie the twente game we had a very different lineup then to what we did have come the start of the season Link here for the squad if anyone interested https://www.sofascore.com/football/match/fc-twente-motherwell/WWsfjb#tab:lineups

Replacement solutions for Slattery and Welsh should have been lined up weeks ago. If not, we’re heading into the Conference League qualifiers half-cocked. With McGinn now injured and Gordon choosing to go elsewhere, the immediate priorities have to be two centre-backs and a creative midfielder. And that’s before even considering the possibility of losing and replacing Just, Maswanhise and Watt.
-
The issue we face now is not so much sourcing replacements as bringing in match fit players. We have our first Conference League game in just under 3 weeks and our first league game in about 4. How fit will will our newcomers be without a pre season with us? How long will it take them to get up speed? Thats been our issue many times before and was always going to be our issue this time round.

That's one of the pitfalls of telling everyone we are a selling club. As last season we had an exceptional manager and some excellent players. The model is we sell them, make money ,replace them and start again. It will always be thus.
-
Honestly thought Randolph was miles better
-
If we lose Watt , Just and TW it could be a challenging period ahead . Very different to the team without McGinn, Welsh , Slattery and then these 3 top players. For a new manager replacing our best manager in donkeys years it’s an uphill challenge . Ideally sort the outgoings and incomings at a decent lick

Good shout. In retrospect I should have included him somewhere, probably in the 70-100 range. The fact that he didn't earn any caps may have counted against him.
-
I wouldn't include Ruddy because he was only ever on loan.
-
A conundrum for me. I eventually went with Randolph but it was very close. Two very different keepers. Ruddy's best was better than Randolph's but his worst was worse than Randolph's. Randolph was the steadier.
