As the game goes on we are getting progressively worse. Our front line is a completely inept set. Vogt appears uninterested and frankly, on showings so far, useless. RCC has been anonymous. When he has been on the ball he has been slow and laboured and Mikey Booth is too lightweight and not yet ready for the 1st team. This is beginning to look like a chance missed.

They may learn that Willy Vogts won’t be a problem

On the plus side, Freiburg will learn F all about us from this game.

The wrong starting XI, with several fringe players only playing themselves further towards the fringes. And it’s becoming increasingly apparent that we still need to sign a fit and functioning number 9. Lowry and Connelly the only real positives so far.

Agree - first time shot even . as my uncle would say - this is pure mince and would then reminisce re likes of Peters and others from back in the day

Yeah, but that is fine if you get into a winning position. If you don't then the team gets weaker as the game goes on. A tough call whatever way you go.

Our forward line is dire.

RCC too slow at getting shot off at the end. Should be quick 1 touch then shoot but he took way to long to shoot after the one touch.

Oh well, another 30mins. That is a disaster in itself. Lose the game and it really will have been a dreadful Sunday.

There were a few posts earlier saying play a strong team , get ahead and then bring on fringe players - not the opposite . been a very poor yet predictable performance

When you saw the starting 11, extra time was always going to be a strong possibility, even probability. A known risk.

Agreed - they prob need to play this level consistently to help them. Booth and Ross are nowhere near ready - not their fault but put them out on loan . vogt - a long way to go for him .

We've seen it all before. Lower league opposition on their own patch, full of energy, enthusiasm and a desire to do well in these competitions against the big boys. If this goes the distance to 90 it's anyone's game.
