  1. Past hour
  2. Thought Watt was class personified today. Barring his shooting!
  3. Really good post. Longelo like Stevie hammell of old had to make up for the ineffectual Said today (in terms or tracking and physicality) covering masses of space. Said and even more so Osong don't fit into JBA's style of play. Charles Cook is a far more physcial player and would have helped Longelo more today. Sparrow massively helped Koutroumbis on the other side.
  4. I’m sure they’ll be looking to beat us by 5 goals so that they can got top of the league, since Hearts don’t have a game on Tuesday
  5. The clips I’ve now seen confirm to me it’s a clear penalty. I cannot believe VAR never looked at it. just need to brush ourselves down and use it as motivation on Tuesday
  6. Kevin Clancy is the ref , so they have their favourable official.
  7. Today
  8. A soft penalty is still a penalty, same as a soft free kick is still a free kick. Wasn’t much in the game at all. They took their chance
  9. 100% there was contact...the only thing the photograph doesn't determine is who kicked who
  10. Fadinger penalty claim was 100% stonewaller. Why no VAR review? A serious question for the SFA.
  11. I do blame the referee. He was up with play with good view of incident. He bottled it. He could have given it and asked to confirm it or overturn it, ie give him the chance to review it again on tv. By ignoring it he passes the buck. As someone else said The Rangers players reactions said it all. They thought it was a penalty. The referee surely sees this big clue.
  12. Had it been the other way I suspect a much longer VAR review would have happened . i don’t blame the ref tbh , he had a good view and can see why he may not give it. But you’d expect a longer review from VAR which is poor , yet typical against OF
  13. Yip clip on other website shows clear contact and foul. Pathetic, but as i said no suprise. Easy to apologise to the smaller clubs than run the rath of the bigot fans. To think people thought with VAR introduction this cheating would stop.
  14. Clear penalty for Fadinger ignored by the ref and VAR. That is cheating, plain and simple.
  15. It was Ibrox, no danger we get a penalty when it matters. The authorities will do anything to drag The Rangers back into a title race. They need the prize money to stop them going bust. Just like how often they get home cup games. There is only so many share issue investments they can do. Financial fair play does not apply in scotland. Also note they are in deflecting overdrive mode with their disallowed goal should have stood. No statements issued about the officials when they win, especially when it goes for them.
  16. Would like to see the Fadinger PK claim from VAR angles. At the time I thought it was a PK but haven’t seen it back to tell if it was or not. Purely just for my own interest, it’s done and over now so just want to see if ref/VAR made right call.
  17. To he fair there is alot wrong at County. Hows his character? As there is talk of alot of bad disruptive ones up there, which is causing major problems. We seem to have decent professional pros. So whoever we sign needs to be obviously good but also a good character who will fit in and hit the ground running.
  18. Very true. We need to be better and stop trying to score the perfect team goal. Goals from stramashes and bounces off arses are just as important. We need to shoot more accurately more often.
  19. We had more than half chances today 🙁
  20. Im sure they will get favourable officials. There penalty today was a joke like many they get the benefit of doubt. Hopefully cook is back. Celtic always seem to raise their game against us, so its going to be very tough. We need to start taking these half chances to get points.
  21. I'd love a Louis Moult or a Michael Higdon but I'd happily settle for a 12 goal a season striker right now. I feel sorry for Callum Hendry as folk are expecting far too much from him. He was never a prolific scorer, more of a Curtis Main type and thats down to a failure of our recruitment department. As an aside, Hale is not setting the heather on fire in the Highlands this season.
  22. I think a total refresh up front centrally is in order. Nothing has or looks as if it will click/ed. Hale for osong would be a good start. Osong whilst its difficult to come on from the bench has shown nothing of note.
  23. 100% in agreement. Celtic are vulnerable in defence but I doubt we have the cutting edge to take advantage of that.
  24. Folk on twitter seem to think we're signing Ronan Hale I mean I certainly wouldn't say no based on his goal tally from last season as long as the fee is minimal. I think we need 4/5 in January and to let 4/5 go. We need a LB or to recall Wilson as cover/competition. We need a CB to replace Balmer and potentially another if Welsh is recalled. St as mentioned by near enough everyone. Terminate Osong's loan and try punt Stuperavic and Robinson. A CM if Halliday is to leave as expected. And personally we need a number 10 to link the game better than Slattery can at let Just play off the side where he has far more impact for me
  25. Let's just imagine we had a young fit Louis Moult up front for us . Or anyone who knows what positions to be in and how to score with half a chance not just sitters. Wow.
  26. Just adding my own perspective on longelo as think he’s a decent player . Personal view is the left hand side of the pitch is an area we lack balance , therefore quite a bit of expectation for longelo to cover a lot of ground . Particularly today where rangers are pretty strong on their right hand side . for contrast on the right we have JK but he’s supported by Said , Just and Sparrow who have a tendency to be on the right . The times longelo has been at his best he has RCC on the left to support him . Appreciate we all see the game differently - just wanted to chuck my 2 cents in . Overall key that we find a different striker if we want to kick on and get top 4
