Always possible he's just discovered he doesn't enjoy living and playing abroad. If so, no point making himself miserable for another couple of years when he can make the same (or better) money closer to home.
-
That's it in one word, back in the UK, with no doubt a large increase in his weekly wage, aye a tough decision.
-
...add to that we will be playing against a tried and trusted 30% possession game plan Will be tough breaking down that however if last season's St Johnstone can then hopefully JBA's mini Barcelona can

Yep, most peculiar - from Champion's League to League One in a season. Hope he's got a relegation clause in his contract.
-
Money.

I can’t get my head around the max johnston signing at derby? Absolutely bizarre, on paper they seem to be a car crash of a club. The boy has been brilliant at sturm graz with a lot of teams watching him. Just screams of wrong move.
-
Window used to close at 11pm, but the leagues agreed to close at 7pm this time
-
We need another Kipre !
-
The record posted yesterday that the window closes at 11pm. Wouldn't be surprised if they were wrong since their idea of journalism is guessing and searching forums, but finding definitive info on the correct time is proving difficult. Unless we don't sign a CB in the next few days, the only activity I see happening on deadline day is outgoings.

The lower league clubs can bring in loans after the window closes, but not the Premiership.
-
Yeah you're right Im sure
-
Thought it was only free agents and yes, from what I’ve seen it shuts at 7pm on Monday.
-
We can bring loans in after the window shuts I think. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong
-
The window in England shuts at 19:00. I read that this year we're also closing at the same time. From an article in the Scotsman: "The Scottish Premiership transfer window will officially close on Monday 1 September, at the earlier time of 7pm. This is slightly earlier than the last few windows and is aligned with many of the top European leagues." https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/scottish-premiership/latest-premiership-news/when-does-the-scottish-transfer-window-close-how-late-can-celtic-rangers-and-rivals-make-transfers-5256299

The Grimsby result was also highly entertaining. Amaluzor must be disappointed he didn't get a piece of that.
-
Grimsby 12-11 on PKs over Man U
-
Definitely a missed opportunity. Just like Tynecastle last Saturday. As I said the other week, Rangers are rank rotten and will drop plenty of points this season.
-
Im embarrassed we only managed a draw against them 😜
-
If we were as good as Club Brugge, maybe. I don't expect us to hit that level for another week or two.
-
Yep, two points dropped...
-
A brilliant night's entertainment it has been That point first game of the season definetly 100% 2 points dropped when you see the state of them
-
No manager in their right minds would want that job. The only money mad mercenary out their that’d take it would be Brendan rodgers
-
As long as they don’t try and get our manager
-
5-0 at half time. The best they’ll get is a draw now 🤣🤣 absolutely fantastic viewing. Even better than the other mobs failure last night and their fan implosion today.
-
Just wanted to say "Liam Kelly" so I can mention the absolute destruction of his mob in the first half. That American investment has been great value.
