A bit strange. We all knew that something was up with Richard Foster and the wording of his exit seems a bit terse. That said, I'm pleased to see Jim Paterson land the post. I think he's been involved with the club for a wee while, if only unofficially. OTF will know the story. Always had a lot of time for Jim after seeing him sit with the fans at East End rather than using a complimentary ticket for their Main Stand.

If there was ever a team I'd love to see us giving a damn good thrashing it would be a Kettlewell team. Be great to see a win for football over the we must win the right before we can go up the park and have a shot. Like others have mentioned +10 points from this run of games would be great.

My thoughts are we get ourselves tangled up, trying to thread delicate passes through an 18 yard box v's if we had 2 strikers and got a few more crosses in we could be more effective that way Seems that by half time - the opposition find ways to deal with our formation, in turn we need to find ways to then mix it up. Not suggesting this for all games but would be interesting to see and possibly change intra game. Dropping TW is most likely way to enable it.. .

There are certainly people in the media (and ex-players) who would be delighted if we fail. Can't have the "wee" teams trying anything progressive when they should be staying in their lane and sticking to the well worn traditional approach. 3 games against Aberdeen with 2 wins and draw in a decent return. I think it's obvious we could do with another central defender and another striking option, but I'm sure JBA sees that too. If we can keep picking up points in the run up to the next transfer window, a couple of astute signings could see our top 6 aspirations improve.
