The 21/22 season

Is the game gone?
-
Found his level.

Mika Biereth made a losing cameo in some game that was on at Hampden tonight.

I'd pick this team to play Killie Ward Sparrow McGinn Welsh Longelo Watt Fadinger Just Slattery Maswanhise Hendry
-
Aye team needing a win, lots of injuries, the worst pitch in the country, the omens are not good for this one. I still think its an away win though.
-
Anyone got the link to the exact minute they discuss Said's goal vs Falkirk. I'd like to hear what Gollum says about that one....can't possibly stick up for his merry band of men with that howler
-
A meaningless game for NI as well.
-
But they do have the worst plastic pitch in professional football and will be working on it all week to make it as slow and stick as possible.
-
Killie got loads of injury issues plus their captain limped off for northern ireland last night
-
Hoping for a good run of performance and goals from Maswanhise before he heads off to the African Cup of Nations next month. I think we'll win and SK will go on a winless streak, although somehow keeping his job.

Old age kicks in again . It was Hibs game at end of November 2024 was thinking of , they were on a bad run n hadn't won in ages, cuffed us 3-0 at fir park.

I was good pals with Bobby Madden when I was younger. He played at a decent level "juniors" I suppose whether you like him or not was one of the reasons he got up the ladder so highly.
-
I’d be fine with their lack of knowledge if they just made consistent decisions. That’s what annoys me the most. Same or very similar incidents have different outcomes from ref to ref and even fro the same ref, game to game. I understand that will happen on occasion but for me, it happens much too frequently.
-
I've seen multiple players and managers suggest refs attend training sessions to learn more about the professional game and how players approach it They definitely need something, because you often see decisions that make you wonder if they have ever even kicked a football for fun.
-
Football is one of the few major team sports where top refs rarely played professionally. Their perception of the game is completely tainted by a lack of real experience. They don’t fully understand the physicality of the game, how players time tackles, or the split-second decisions on the pitch. In rugby, cricket, or tennis, officials are often ex-players, so they instinctively know what’s fair. VAR only makes it worse, highlighting just how shit Scottish refs really are.
-
Which, presumably, would be a 'normal football challenge' that Uruguayan referees have to deal with.
-
Refs wouldn’t know a normal football challenge if it bit them in the arse 😡
-
While I obviously disagree with the ref's decision, I am in favour of every ref ignoring VAR every time and just playing on without it.
-
The referees in this country are a bunch of incompetent fuds managed by the biggest incompetent fud of all.
-
Utter bullshit regarding St Mirrens 4th goal, the VAR team are agreed that the StM player looks at the motherwell player and then deliberatly leans into him to stop him getting the ball so they say foul and ask the ref to have another look, so all good so far. Then the ref looks again, ignores var and says it was a " normal football challenge ffs" and says nah im sticking with the original decision, so wtf is the point of VAR getting involved only for refs to ignore them, utter nonsense.
