  2. Not just the SFA, it part of the laws of the game. I think it's because in theory a deliberate hand ball could result in an advantage to the other team, for example if the ball is going out for a throw in and somebody catches it the other team gets a free kick which is more advantageous than a throw in. Like you I thought a deliberate hand ball was a yellow and only recently found out it's not.
  3. I’ll give them a call tomorrow. I drove up to fir park on Saturday morning but everything was closed.
  4. I don’t tend to login for home games so I don’t know the answer. However, could it be to mitigate Hearts fans getting home tickets? I suspect more than 4,500 will be planning to head through.
  5. Haven't been able to buy tickets for the Hearts game either - I'm no longer a ST holder (was for 30 years), and have purchased tickets using the new system before. Are tickets only available to ST holders? I get the following message " This event is not yet available to you Unfortunately, you don't have the correct permissions on your account to purchase this event."
  6. Anyone know why we can’t buy tickets online for the hearts game? I’ve logged in to get a ticket for my son and it says “Tickets are not yet available”?
  7. Beat Hearts and beat Celtic in our remaining home games, then having already seen off Rangers, nobody can accuse us of playing favourites.
  8. They are no brilliant but have momentum and grind out these win. Thats a title winning requirement. We were the better team and on top at Tynecastle until they got a dodgy penalty. I'm sure their luck has to run out at some point.
  9. They needed to win at Tynecastle and they did. They ain't that great but they get results when it matters so afraid I'd disagree on this one.
  10. Hearts need to come for the win and we shall pick them off easily. Even very worst we are going to get is a point but I suspect we shall beat them to add some spice to the league title race.
  11. We have to be watertight at set pieces as our lack of physicality has cost us a few goals.
  12. The point was if we could finish 6th. If Falkirk get 9 points, Hibs can only get six. We have a better goal difference than Hibs but big score lines allow them to go above us. Hibs beating us 3-0 is a swing of 6.
  13. Hearts weren't that good, again, but they get the results. Rangers were utterly abysmal.
  14. Falkirk are 8 points behind us if they win their last 3 and we lose our last 3 they are one point ahead of us, why the talk of big scorelines. Am I missing something? Very unlikely but mathematically possible.
  15. A draw between Falkirk and Hibs means Falkirk can't catch us and leaves Hibs 5 behind us. I expect us to lose to Hearts so Hibs face Rangers and we face Celtic with Hibs 5 behind us. If as expected we both lose to the OF we are 5 points ahead of Hibs in the head to head with 4th in the bag. I don't want to go to easter road having to get something.
  16. Of fall down as he walks past getting him a straight red . U never know it has worked in the past. 🤫
  17. Interesting to read Paul McGinn's comments on last Saturday. He wasn't very complimentary about the plastic pitch and bemoaned that Falkirk's physicality up front caused our defence problems. Hopefully that'll feed into our summer recruitment.
  18. Get his old mate Slattery to kick him.
  19. Fitness issues or super sub to push team forward . Hopefully has a stinker on Saturday.
  20. Seems to be the case quite often, but he's still mostly used as a sub.
  21. Spittal seem to be involved in Hearts playing well today.
  22. MicInnes' half time talk must have been "c'mon lads, don't forget Rangers are mince"
  23. Hearts have been bloody awful. They look paralysed by pressure and they've spent those 45 mins blootering the ball as far away from their goal as they can.
  24. Hearts are making rangers look good. They are playing terrible. I think they are too tense amd nervous.
