  1. Past hour
  2. They choose Zimbabwe over Motherwell? , who'd have thought ...🀣
  3. 90% of them are from Zimbabwe πŸ˜„
  4. But there wasnt 6000 like you in those 10,000 crowds. Fans will come out for a big game for every team then disappear like snow off a dyke. No one is criticising fans who are hundreds or even thousands of miles away but most in those 10,000 crowds will probably live withing 20 miles of Fir Park. On a slightly different note you look at social media like twitter (or X if you prefer) Motherwell have 63,000 followers, St Mirren have 43,000 followers, Kilmarnock have 56,000, Falkirk have 36,000 followers and every one of them will leave us standing in next years average attendance stakes. I know they wont all be Motherwell fans but there is obviously a connection there, we have many who are obviously interested in the club but have no desire to come to Fir Park. Our stagnant attendances whether we are good bad or indifferent is frustrating , even more so for the Well society I suspect.
  5. TBF, that's in part because many are like me and live too far away to attend most games. When we were gubbed in the CIS Cup final, I made a 6000 mile round trip for that glory.
  6. We do though , we can get 10,000 for Cup semis and finals, we couldn't get 10,00 of our own fans in Fir Park for a league game if we paid them.
  7. Ha, if we have any gloryhunters in our support their in for a big fukin disappointment 😞
  8. Today
  9. All teams have Gloryhunters, all teams have troublemakers. The number each team has is probably pretty close in percentages. As the OF have thousands more they will have more of each category but percentage wise proportionate to their support.
  10. JBA mentioned in one of his interviews that defending the long ball is something we are training for, but need to improve.
  11. Sign will be up by the official opening. Well society posted on Facebook to confirm this
  12. That is a genuine issue , the boot and rush merchants will get behind our current defence we need improvements in that area. Something Im sure the manager is working on.
  13. For what its worth i know quite a few Rangers fans who ditched their season tickets when they went down to D3. I also know a few who stuck with their team through it all
  14. The curtent talk is that Bologna are looking to offload first, before committing. Udinese and Como apparently looking at him also.
  15. Seems to have been very successful on Friday evening, with the club's income being boosted consideably. Thats just what we need to increase off the field turnover. A few teething problems though, which the Society will will take up with the club.

All the details were on the Society's web page (although it wouldn't hurt to have a sign) https://thewellsociety.uk/2025/07/24/grab-a-friday-night-brew-in-the-new-well-society-fan-zone-before-hertha/
  18. Correct, Its in what was/is the memorial garden and Its the disabled fans entrance at the very end of the POD stand you use to access it but no signs up yet . I'm assuming that's something the Well Society will address as it confused a lot of people on Friday.
  19. I assume its located on the spare ground at the unfinished end of the POD stand, if it is there is a distinct lack of signage.
  20. A fair bit of online chat re Bologna and Udinese, but nothing to suggest an actual bid has been received. If he starts against Rangers then I would say the club has not received any genuine / acceptable bids, if hes not in the squad then that would suggest a move may be forthcoming, time will tell.
  21. They have certainly cropped up in a few articles, and his Dad has talked about how Lennon liked the idea of Italy after he had been talking to Lewis Ferguson and Scott McTominay - so it's not outlandish by any means.
  22. Is there any truth in the rumour regards Lennon Miller going to Bologna. A deal to 2029 with option of another year?
  23. I actually thought I had gone to the wrong place - I hadn't but it was full by 6pm, the gates were closed when I turned up and there were also apparently issues with stock as well. I wasn't turned away, I didn't ask to get in but some people were turned away - it was very busy by the sounds of it. The well society said they are going to try and rectify things by the official opening date
  24. It’s a good draw and one that is winnable. Obviously it’s Motherwell and you can never be sure but I have a good feeling about this one. Hopefully this will be 3pm on the Saturday.
  25. A draw that should see us progress. I have faith in the JBA way.
  26. Would be hard to play worse, but I've been proved wrong before.
  27. Yeah but this is 2025 so…. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  28. The way things are seeded in the last 16 now, with typically 5 or 6 lower league non-seeds every year, you're more likely to draw one (unless your us, of course). Even this year there was a 50/50 chance of matching up with a lower league team. (I agree that it would be easy to fix if you wanted to). I wouldn't need much convincing, however, that the warm and cold balls was happening in the 70s.
