I didn’t hear him say that. Maybe I missed it or just took something different from what he said than you did.

Should be confident of winning this but we have to put in the effort. Livi maybe bottom but still not a pushover. Hopefully Watt is back for at least part of the game. As someone suggested playing RCC from the start instead of Hendry/AP might be worth a try. Slats needs to up his performance level a bit and not lapse into his old. Falling over habit and getting caught on the ball. if we can get an early goal then perhaps we can a few more.
-
Only if Martindale manages to roll out a plastic pitch at Fir Park and dry out the half we're playing in to. I fancy our chances against Falkirk at Fir Park next time too.
-
John McGlynn appears to have us sussed out, will Martindale learn from his tactics? Hopefully Watt not out for too long.
-
Last 3 games he was protected very well by his defence . Im sure he will still make mistakes when under real pressure . But his passing outfield and distribution have been excellent starting off a few good moves. Confident with passing and the ball at his feet in the box. Cant expect him to have everything or he wouldn’t be playing with us.

numpty started following MOTM Falkirk 03-Dec-2025 and Motherwell v Livingston 6/12/2025

Ward almost caught out with long range effort today, just my opinion but I am not convinced with him, just feel there is always a blunder due
-
Big game and need 3pts

If we get good performances from the likes of just and maswanhise then I think we will win this,if we get the first goal then the message has to be not letting up at any stage of the game so we dont end up with another killie or falkirk result at home.
-
Really surprised he thought we played really well. We were poor , still worth the point but poor none the less. Last half hour we lost our way but defensively we played very well. McGinn and Welsh were outstanding.
-
Hendry Still looked marginally off side sadly. Not seen Killie goal yet
-
Back on a real pitch today will Livi play the in your face hard tough game? Should be 3 points to us! COYW
-
Off topic but I have just watched Kilmarnock's equaliser at Tynecastle. The lines are drawn and it is identical to Hendry's disallowed goal on Saturday. The scorer is leaning and his shoulder is in front of the defender but this one stood. Very frustrating.
-
That’s the poorest I’ve seen us on the ball this season and it’s no coincidence it occurred when Watt was missing. McGinn and Welsh probably our top two performers for the 2nd game in a row. After an off-performance against Hearts, I was expecting Slattery to bounce back tonight but it wasn’t to be. Hopefully he can provide goals and assists soon as it looks like our no.9 position is becoming an issue that won’t be resolved soon and poor Said looks incapable of finding any composure in the box.
-
I thought McGinn was the standout tonight.

Poor today. Not direct enough. Thought we missed watt. Thought we played much better against Hearts. Thought when we brought on O'Donnell and Stamatolopolis , it made us worse. Prob should have got Charles Cook on.

Saved a potential own goal.

Frustrating I wish Longelo would just cross the ball sometimes Thought Sparrow was playing pretty well Actually thought Priestman was good. Tidy on the ball and the odd burst and drop of the shoulder Ward, McGinn and Welsh pretty solid Slattery a bit off it again Hendry gives off Bull in a China Shop vibes at times. Still only 2 losses at this stage is good going and youd hope we'd dispatch Livi at home on Sat.
-
Falkirk have an advantage playing on that pitch. They were powder puff and once the 50 50 started to even out they offered little going forward. I think cook just and TJ should be our front 3 against livi.
-
Another point on the board I suppose. If someone said to me that at the start of the season after 15 games you would only have two defeats, then aye I’m going to bite your hand off for that. Actually looking at the table this must be some kind of record for the number of draws so far for all teams.
-
Hearts have a tough run of games Celtic (a) Falkirk (a) Rangers (h) Hibs(a)

A great result, if not performance. Falkirk are playing well but are benefitting from spades of good luck. Add to that a poor plastic surface which was deviously managed and we can be very satisfied tonight.
