  1. Past hour
  2. I meant I hadn't heard of is making players train in their own when they fall out with the club.
  3. Saw on Facebook (so must be right) that Maswanhise is linked to Trabzonspor who have made a 7 million euro bid. Can’t find the link now. Anyone else seen this?
  4. I've heard of us arranging non contact training for injured players in the past 5 years, but can't recall exact details.
  5. I agree, how could you assess Thor and to be fair hes looked a handful in the couple of games hes played. Stamas just been piss poor from day one.
  6. Stama definitely, a waste of space, not sure Thor is in the same bracket hes hardly had a chance through injury.
  7. Today
  8. It’s not something I have ever heard of us do before. I suppose it could happen, but just doesn’t seem our style.
  9. Hopefully you’re right and I’m seeing something that’s not there but I’ve never heard us talk of us train others this way when recovering.
  10. That’s usually disciplinary issues. In this case it sounds more like specialized rehab.
  11. I'd like to see Thor get a chance in a team that actually crosses the ball, because we didn't last year, but I don't hold out much hope for him.
  12. No basis at all, perhaps you’re right but I just have a feeling that training themselves apart from the squad reeks of players not wanted or trusted by the management for some reason. Seen it happen at other clubs before.
  13. Eythor would seem to fit into the style Alfred likes to play, with lots of crosses into the box. I’m happy to see him get a chance when he’s fit. If it doesn’t work then we can look for our plan B in January.
  14. On what basis? They were both reported to have muscle injuries. If they are back training, they are maybe ok for light running, but not contact training with the squad? I think most of us expect Stama to return to Australia at some point, but its surely too early to be calling time on Eythor.
  15. The thought of having Kanga and Said on the same pitch is making me so excited for what we soon could be witnessing.
  16. I think Thor and possibly Stam are finished with us. I know it was said they were training themselves as not ready to train with the squad but I feel that there’s possibility more to it than that.
  17. I don't think so Kanga seems to be a AM so shouldn't really affect Maswanhise if he departs we'll need another winger but outside that I can't see us doing anymore business that's us up to 28 players on the books who have featured for the first team 3 times or more.
  18. If this comes to pass, he'd be some signing.
  19. This appears to be a great signing. A bit like Hodge, probably a bit more money than we would ever have looked at in the past, but with many more multiples possible in sell on fee if all goes well. Like all transfers, its a bit of a risk, but he looks an exciting prospect, so we need to trust the process. Think that will be us done now unless Fadinger, Longelo or Maswanhise go out the door. Hopefully not though. Would be nice to get the squad settled down at last.
  20. Think this is the European money getting spent. player looks to be good. Really want to see what he can do as he seems to be getting a good write up and the fee we have paid. Still think we could be adding a couple for team depth now looks like Connelly Paulsen Sod G-R k-L Moorman McGhee (inj) McGinn (inj) Williams (inj) Johnny (inj) Wilson and Longelo looks like fadinger Whyte sparrow ( inj) priestman (inj) and hodge for dm lowry Cooke said vogt maswanhise ross and kanga for the attacking mid/ wingers thor (inj) stama (inj) hendry (inj) booth and PH for striker must think that Thor and stama will be back soon. I just get the feeling that as soon as someone is coming back someone else gets injured.
  21. Wow!! If true then fair play to board as we are certainly splashing the cash
  22. I imagine we expect 3 or 4 times return on that investment too. I agree, however, that we are likely to lose one or two more before the window.
  23. I know they play different position just wondering if the potential cash coming in persuaded us to push the boat out a bit further.
  24. Elijah Just was wee too, but he worked out OK.
  25. He seems quite small at 5ft 7in. Hopefully a nippy wee midfielder that scores goals.
