  2. Exactly - so the non-native speakers have to try and translate their half baked questions.
  3. I completely agree. We should be doing everything we can to invest in JBA.
  4. If watching Beck has taught me anything it's that Swedish words are not pronounced the way they look - even when it comes to the number of syllables.
  5. Cup winning chairman and purveyor of fine pies. Does he already have a place in the Hall of Fame? RIP Mr Chairman.
  6. Nice. Here's another bohemian rhapsody i see a little silhouetto of a man... "Björgolfsson" "He's going to score a goal!" "Björgolfsson!"
  7. Agree. Would also be good on jba CV to see it through with players he brought in as shows some commitment. Then much bigger clubs will want him. Yes hopefully our management is putting deal on table. 👍
  8. I would imagine the club will be not just looking at the playing benefit of keeping him, but the swell in seats being filled every game and the difference that makes to the coffers. I would be shocked if we didn't offer him a bumper contract and wouldn't shock me if it was the highest we've paid for a manager.
  9. Grizzlyg Bacharach I was hoping for 🤣
  10. Sad news . MFC through and through RIP John
  11. The majority of those journos cant speak English very well.
  12. He's out of contract because he had a relegation release clause.
  13. Not specific to Lukas, but I'm always impressed when any player speaking a second language can handle a press conference with the Scottish journos.
  14. Our lads need to be on top form for this one. If we can play our regular possession game then perhaps we can come away with a win but the way Hibs are going at the moment a draw would be a good result, a win would be an excellent result. Hope the good Maswanhise turns up.
  15. RIP Mr Chapman. MFC forever.
  16. Is he available in this window or are we talking about next season?
  17. Aye Andrew Lloyd Grizzlyg right enough .
  18. I’d take a 0–0 or low-scoring draw to keep the momentum going. A win isn’t beyond us though and would be a great marker for the season ahead in terms of league placing.
  19. I agree his will be very tough. However I'm reassured by the fact absolutely no team has dominated us this season in the league home or away. Our record of late at Easter Road is none too shabby. If Watt doesn't make it, as expected, this could be pivotal. Had he been available I'd go into this game with a degree of confidence without being cocky.
  20. If he signs and scores 2 goals early on in debut...( to tune of Fortunate Son by Creedence Clearwater Revival) GIVE US THREE GIVE US THREE OHHH BJORGOLFSSON
  21. What a challenge! Let me have a think
  22. We already use that for....STEPHEN O'DONNNNNEEEELLLLLL

    John Chapman

One of the most important people in the history of MFC. RIP Mr Chapman.
  24. RIP John. As Chairman you gave me one of the greatest days of my MFC supporting life.
  25. Sad news. John Chapman has passed away at the age of 93. He oversaw our club during difficult times and had the honour of being charge when we won the cup in 19991. I met him on many occasions and in various settings and always found him to be amiable, pleasant and willing to talk about MFC, the club he loved. I knew he hadn't been in the best of health for some years. Thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. RIP John.
