Talking of history, did you look at his goals per match record in the U18 Premier League? 23 in 33 games......and 15 assists... in case you missed it. He was loaned out because he was far too good for that age level and his route into the first team was blocked by players who cost millions. If that is taking a risk then can we please find more risks of that kind.

He has been loaned out to RKC Waalwijk and played 12 games in Dutch league. Also had played at youth level for Denmark so had slightly more pedigree.

Yes agree we have to gamble but they are calculated risk that they have potential to inform. Biereth was more of a sure bet he would adapt to our league.

Was interesting to read. Very quickly brought back the memories of Mugabi pi55ing about under GA. Be great to see us having the ability to make the 10-15 yard passes and build out properly . Equally it will be hard to watch as we go through a learning curve . hopefully it will attract guys who have the technical skills to pull it off.

Motherwell don't sign sure things. If they're a "sure thing" for SPL level, they go to Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs or Dundee United. Gambles are where we live. Scott McDonald was rejected elsewhere. Appreciate that this is a wee bit late, but I was looking for some info about old roof repairs and stumbled across some original WS stuff. The original lowest membership was £300, as previously pointed out. However, there was an additional annual renewal fee. Of £50. I have a renewal certificate. After this came the change to monthly contributions. My very hazy recollection of this is that it was mandatory to contribute in order to retain membership. As other people have alluded, things were pretty fluid in the first couple of years, so I could well be wrong about that, but a fiver a month is pretty close to fifty quid annually.

It would be interesting if someone who us going to the game could give us a brief summary of how our young lads perform. Some of us know their names but that's all and others don't know them at all. The club doesn't provide us with much info on the development squad these days.

Same colour as Liam Kelly's top a couple of seasons ago. I quite like it, nice colour, subtle claret and amber trim. I'll probably buy one when I'm up for a visit.

Would have preferred this collar/arm trim on our kit…….love our original script badge
