  1. Past hour
  2. If I'm hones I just never saw that coming. I couldn't be more delighted, the project remains on track a big crowd guarenteed and we really should have won that 4-1 even though probably one of our poorer game. Take nothing away from Motherwell but Aberdeen are absolute push. To think how they were creaming their pants over their their transfer window activity.
  3. Don't think he's sh*te, just not really got a " trick", mccoist wasn't a great footballer but he could score
  4. I agree am a fan of Stama but when will he get one? Next week? Or at the final at Hampden? I’m behind the team so COYW
  5. Totally , the miss with the header in 2nd half was amateur stuff, if he gets one and goes on a run...great
  6. Get they flights booked 😆😆
  7. All about opinions dude and fully respect yours. I feel he just needs a goal
  8. Well, if you have any social media you've just triggered a string of relevant ads 😆 Maybe motherwell should buy ads in that space, the team is exciting to watch.
  9. Not a night to be too critical but he won't do, he's not physical enough to be a nuisance and the chances he's missing are terrible
  10. Wish I'd had the option of a semi on my stag do.
  11. And on a big Hampden pitch it hopefully suits us
  12. Stam is who we have, and until Hendry, Robinson, Sule and Stuparevic come back from injury or the transfer window opens, we might as well accept his good points and hope he clicks in front of goal. Our other option is shoehorning wingers into the 9 position, which just won't work. It was an excellent win and a guttsy performance with some of our best players missing, so maybe we shouldn't dwell on the negatives.
  13. Another win against the Dons? Always a wee worry when you beat a team in a cup game and play that team next in the league. Will Stama score in this one? COYW
  14. So close to punching that ball into his own net, he then feigned an injury out of embarrassment. It is a tad concerning anyway…. That’s enough of me moaning…. Delighted we are at Hampden again, I can’t see JBA shitt1in the nest like kettlebell did last year.
  15. Osong's a youngster who has only had a handful of first team appearances in the lower leagues. I'd have been more surprised if he had a seamless transition into the first team. He may or may not be any good, but I'd imagine it will be easier to judge later in the season. (Can you spend 8 years coming through the ranks at a team like Nottingham Forest while being shite?) Good to see we are writing players off after a handful of minutes though. It's a fine Motherwell tradition.
  16. Still need a keeper imo, ward is not the long term solution
  17. Put the two together and you still wouldn't have a footballer. They are both shite.
  18. I think his link up play was good, still flying the AP flag
  19. I'd have ten AP Stams over Osong who is actually shite
  20. Good summary and I think it’s a good sign that we managed to still play decent against a team who obviously done their homework and set up to not allow us to play but yet we still managed to play our game. I think we are only going to get better the more games we play and when we get to full strength.
  21. Nice wee boost to the coffers as well getting to Hampden.
  22. Fadi/watt were excellent again, and RCC got stuck in and has some of the cynical side that we need at times. Thought the defence was solid enough, with the framework not putting a foot wrong. I went with Said. I had him down as a tricky unpredictable winger, but he put in a great shift in midfield, and is so good at taking the ball in and opening up some space.
  23. Just seen the score and stats. Brilliant result. Only 41% possession. Is that right? Also Aberdeen 16 fouls, 2 booked to our 6 fouls and 3 booked. Ref at it? Given our increasing injury list that is a good result, with clean sheet. Confidence can only grow. Now we need to batter them at Fir Park.
