  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah I don’t have them either. I’ll wait a few days and then hopefully they will be there. My issue is I haven t had any receipt from Motherwell for the tickets I bought but they have confirmed over a call I have paid for them and I have my seat numbers.
  3. I'm not seeing any tickets on my Hampden app, weren't they supposed to show 7 days before the match? Anyone else seeing theirs? EDIT: I can see on MFC site it now says "the week of the game". Thought it said 7 days before previously.
  4. Today
  5. Great...I feel reassured now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  6. Don’t worry it will be on premier tv at a pub next to Hampden if it all goes tits up. No phone signal Battery runs out Drop your phone in a puddle Forget your phone / leave it in Cooper suite Run out of credit Forget your password What could possibly go wrong.
  7. I know we’ve got Dundee Utd on Wednesday before this but I am absolutely dreading this on Saturday and think it’s got all the hallmarks of a disastrous and sickening night for us. One of those games we’ll look back on for years and shudder like Rangers in 2012, Airdrie Semi Final in mid 70s, losing to ten man Aberdeen in the QFS when the Old Firm were already out and so on. I don’t know how it will pan out obviously but I am absolutely convinced we will lose one way or another. ”Mind that St.Mirren LCSF in 2025? Jeez don’t even go there, I still have nightmares about that one” edit: And if/when we do lose then I will 100% be supporting whichever Old Firm side in the final, none of this birthday caird nonsense like Tam Cowan will inevitably come out with like “ye know whit, fair play tae St.Mirren an am delighted fur ma St.Mirren pals an a’ll be cheering them oan in the final cos that’s what fitbaawww is aw aboot. Course ah would a loved it if Motherwell had goat there but fur a wee diddy team like us just gettin tae a semi final is fantaaaastic it wis a great day oot, few beers, game a fitbaawww then oot efterwards fur a curry, which ah must add wis absolootly top notch” Not for me sorry. If we can’t win the trophy and have our day in the sun then I certainly don’t want St.Mirren to have theirs.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Or, as the MSM call it "taking one for the team".
  10. I'd love to see a rule change where instead of an automatic yellow, a straight red is given to players who "tactically" foul a breakaway player in the middle of the park. One of my pet hates that has crept more and more into the modern game.
  11. Imagine Longelo with the freedom of Hampden 😅
  12. Forgot to mention how great how great it was to see the reaction from the bench when Just scored the Winner. Longello obviously took his flippers off after being sub’d. Best he moved all day. 😂 hopefully the big man is back to normal in the next game.
  13. I said before VAR was introduced, I thought it would be terrible. First, because of the interminable delays of the game, and second, because the same officials would still make poor, just different, decisions looking at video. It's actually been worse than I thought on both counts. There's no point saying it got one decision right and ignoring the 10 that it missed or got wrong. I'd like to see the stats, but my impression is that there has not been any reduction in the overall number of incorrect decisions since it arrived.
  14. Fairly sure it was flagged for offside, one of these late flags after the move had completed.
  15. Yup VAR does have good points if used correctly, perfect example last week at Dens, even to me looked like ball hit guy on arm and pen to sellik. Once reviewed clearly hit face. It's the farcical offside ones and the said foul that cause the problems
  16. What’s the deal with Suele? Is he going to come back or has injury ruled him Out for the season?
  17. Just’s header was offside which could be seen right away and the highlights showed the lines for the other occasion when Just broke thru and laid it up for AP. So to my points, header spotted easily, VAR used to give offside. Other occasion, very tight, even with lines, on field decision should stand (can’t recall if they awarded goal or flagged it) and no VAR intervention.
  18. There’s more to the VAR problem than inconsistent interventions and questionable decisions. It disrupts the live match experience to the point where fans can’t even celebrate goals in the moment, because every goal now comes with a long pause while everyone waits to see if it actually counts. It’s sucking the joy out of the game and, at the end of the day, money talks. If this carries on, fans will talk with their feet, and once they start staying away, it will be very hard to get them back. Club chairmen need to act quickly and come together to get rid of this shite before the damage is permanent.
  19. I detest VAR as it is operated in Scotland. The delay it causes to the games is farcical and communication is a joke. The dilemma is that for every 'Said non goal' there is a 'Nick Walsh no handball'. So if we do away with VAR we have to accept the incompetence of our referees and accept whatever they throw at us. The wee baldy linesman that chalked off a perfectly good goal against Rangers at Fir Park all those years ago still haunts me. The biggest criticism I have this season is that errors appear to have increased in number, and not decreased as should be expected as systems bed in. Willie Collum will deny that is the case though. Would I detest VAR if it was operated properly, with competent officials and proper technology with cost not a factor? Probably not.
  20. Without VAR - we wouldn’t have got the penalty yesterday . it’s far from perfect and last week was poor with Said , yesterday as frustrated as I was I think got it right with both offsides . I’d rather we binned plastic pitches and improved how we use VAR .
  21. Var has no place in the modern game, all this clear and obvious error pish they keep spouting is nonsense. The ref last Saturday saw nothing wrong in the lead up to Saids goal, he was a few yards away with a great view so no clear or obvious error so why were VAR even involved ffs. They are actively looking for reasons to disallow goals, how Far do you go back in a passage of play etc. As for the offside yesterday no lines shown due to the bargin basement system we have in Scotland, so they basically guessed it was offside, with no conclusive proof. The whole system needs binned ASAP, but if the clubs dont stand up and start complaining nothing will change.
  22. Our current midfield is the best we've had in a good few years, not sure Spittal would fit in. If we are spending money then its a striker we need in January as we are lightweight up front.
  23. I like Spittal but don't think he has the pace for our style. Look at halliday, great last season but cant even get a sub appearance
  24. Just paranoid pal as I am.in charge of our tickets and bought 10
  25. Not sure Hearts would want to loan him out or if he would want to come. If they are serious about winning the league they need a decent squad not just a starting 11.
