  1. Past hour
  2. Sammy has given up the lease on Club100 so presumably, the owners (whoever they are) will be looking for new leaseholders...I think we'd be missing a trick by not at least enquiring on taking it on in some sort of lease.
  3. Agree 100%. I'm surprised at comments suggesting it was harsh, well maybe not in terms of the BBC. I watched the highlights over a can of Hazy Janes and to me it seems like a top end yellow, just short of a straight red. He goes in studs up with the sole intention of doing Slatts and catches him on on the lower shin. It isn't careless, uncontrolled or reckless; its deliberate and he knew it, as does McCann.
  4. Hearts would struggle without their set piece goals.
  5. Good to see Rangers still getting help to keep in the race.
  6. Today
  7. 'Mon the Hearts - keep it at 2 - 2 now please.
  8. Was about to say that. Time to move onto plan B.
  9. Well I think we can kiss goodbye to Stephen Welsh. Tierney off injured again and Trusty sent off. maybe it’s for the best we look at a permanent signing anyway
  10. I would’ve agreed but MO’N came out and said ā€œI’m stepping in hereā€ with the January window and presumably he does pick the matchday squad. Either way I think we should move on if not sorted early next week.
  11. They are probably in the huff because we told them to bolt with their offer for JT. For all their money Celtic are a poor team.
  12. Given recent history, I expect it's the Board rather than MON that's playing silly buggers.
  13. Playing him against a junior side and then taking him off (when he was their best defender) after 60mins did strike me as being quite petty. you never know though and we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe he’s not been giving a toss in training and made his feelings known he wasn’t happy at being recalled. Who knows?
  14. Was just about to post that. I just don’t understand what Celtic get out of screwing him around like this.
  15. Agree that he’s Celtics player to dictate situation however either this means SW is back with us mon or Tuesday at latest or confirms suspicion that MON’s loveable grandpa act is just that and he’s screwing both us and Welsh over.
  16. He is a Celtic player at the end of the day and they can do what they want with him but it must leave a bad taste is his mouth. He’s been doing really well with us, enjoying his football and has actively tried to move on and get games instead of being content sitting on the bench and picking up a wage. He’s now recalled to sit in his house and watch the game on his telly. Just seems petty from Celtic. in some ways it might end up good for us as he may have a bit extra between his teeth to do well if he comes back to us.
  17. And big hugs to Stama from spiderpig 🤣🤣
  18. šŸ‘ yes it’s the range and dispersion of points which is much narrower this year which makes it al lthe more interesting. Away from the data analytics and towards the🧔, i find it somewhat ironic that while šŸŽ¶ ā€œwe hate Hearts and we hate Dundeeā€ šŸŽ¶ I’ll be willing them both in to get a result today šŸ˜€
  19. Shocking. I feel really sorry for him, but apparently if Celtic don`t respond by tomorrow, we go elsewhere.
  20. Just watched highlights. How can anyone say the first one wasn’t a yellow? Studs straight into Slatts shin could have been very nasty indeed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Still no Welsh in the Celtic squad.
  22. For anyone with a statistical leaning: Over the last 10 completed seasons, the maximum number of points achieved by the team that finished 4th was 67 (twice, 17-18 & 18-19); the minimum was 48 (21-22), and the average is 57.2. I hope you will all sleep better now. Given that Hibs and Falkirk are 5 & 7 pts behind respectively, I reckon 60 will be needed (but that is just a guess).
  23. BBC have and already out of date (doesn’t include yesterday’s results) analysis of who may win the league which shows us as 5th based on expected goals. Basically that methodology has Celtic and Hibs underperforming and Hearts, Rangers, and us over performing in that order. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0erdjp0plpo So many other factors to take into account of course but I’d say a win here and the others sharing/dropping points will put us in a strong position to potentially finish 3rd, not just consolidate 4th
  24. Our transfer Windows are usually more miss than hit but our summer 2025 transfer window must be by far and away our best one ever. Considering that also included our new manager coming in who has been nothing short of exceptional and Wimmer's one and only signing also being superb it's hard to think how it can be beaten. To think we also managed to make our biggest ever sale and replace with a few players now worth over a £million in the squad it genuinely beggars belief how good that window has turned out to be. It should turn out to be genuinely transformational for our club and stand us in good stead for years to come. The board also deserve massive credit for this. Must be in contention for not just our but possibly even the league's best transfer window by a club?
