  1. Past hour
  2. It’s the effectiveness of the system, more than the individuals in the back four or the goalkeeper, that prevents goals being conceded.
  3. What strikes me is none of our defensive line are signed up for the new campaign - only 15 goals lost this season. Who deserves a new contract?
  4. Aye. The boy is still a class act. Even if he left Cardiff, there would be teams with deeper pockets than us in the queue to secure his services. He is much better than a League 1 player. More the pity.....
  5. I only saw the 2nd half, but he certainly look the part. Always making space, always time to find a man with a pass.
  6. He should be the first name on Cardiff’s team sheet. He’ll be back, but not anytime soon.
  7. Chelsea are back in front, so can we keep the rumour going 🤔
  8. Cardiff would be mad to let him go after that performance. Still oozes class.
  9. Today
  10. Let's just forget about any deal now
  11. Yep. He’s a clever player and we all know this.
  12. Who knew DT had that header in him?
  13. He's just scored a beauty to draw cardiff level, what a header.
  14. Turnbull is the only one in that Cardiff team with a footballing brain.
  15. The Stuart Kettlewell of fans. They either don't realise or don't care how even a very small number acting like that can undo all the great work the club and the Trust do for the community.
  16. English league cup is often where teams start players that normally don't get a game. So let's keep that rumour going!
  17. Turnbull starts tonight v Chelsea so somehow can't see him coming up here soon
  18. They were acting like arseholes at Tannadice. Their sense of entitlement saw them locked out the game because they because abusive to Stewards . Doesn't matter a fuck what you think of stewarding had they not acted like entitled arseholes they'd have got into the game. No doubt we'll get the persecution response of "heavy hands empty stands"
  19. Turnbull would be an ideal fit as a central attacking midfielder in JBA’s 4-2-3-1. That said, the rumour is probably complete bollocks.
  20. Oh I do love a rumour of previous Well stars coming back. Turnbull would be an outstanding addition - I think his style of play does suit us. Attack minded team who want to play football and carve their way through a team - yes please. I could see a loan being possible especially if they want to sell him with a year left on his contract. Appreciate there are other more pressing roles to solve but it cheered my well soul to think about Turnbull back home in the current set up.
  21. They are but then St Mirren play a totally different style of football than we do. We saw it here with Robbo. Get the ball forward quickly into the final 3rd. Win your second balls. Pepper the box with as many crosses as you can. Get your strikers to attack said crosses. Dont get me wrong, Id love to have a striker that was contributing more in the goals for column. Would Ayunga or someone like him be that guy? Would Maswanhise score the same number of goals in their team for example?
  22. He is also the man that cited abuse for leaving us yet feels relaxed abusing match officials and verbally shouting at them. Walloper. Anyway old news and we focus on JBA who has been absolutely brilliant for us
  23. I'm not going back 20 years fs. I'm talking about in the present. We don't have a natural finisher at the club who plays as a centre forward. They have Ayunga who bullies the shit out of defenders AND scores goals. Mandron, who knows if he'd have kicked on with us at the time but I'll tell you one thing. They're both more effective in front of goal for StM than Hendry and Stama are for us.
  24. Perhaps but I would gladly trade all of them for two leave cup triumphs in the last 13 years.
  25. Must be a joke post surely? In the last 15 years St Mirren would love to have got anywhere near the quality of strikers we have 'unearthed'. Off the top of my head.... McCormack Porter Juke Moult Sutton (better version than at St Mid) Higdon - see above Van Veen - see above Bear Biereth
