They certainly are out of control. Pitch invasions with Celtic FC staff joining in; fans being assaulted; now opposition players allegedly being assaulted; and games being abandoned early. The SFA needs to take strong action but won't. It hasn't even commented on Wednesday evening's goings on. If it can impose strict liability for pyros then it can do so here. Points deduction required and away ticketing allocations reduced, as they did with us at Dundee. .

This is what happens when you give entitled, arrogant arseholes like the Celtic support an inch. They are out of control and basically doing whatever they like with no comeback. There was no Rangers fans at Fir Park or at Celtic Park today to shift the blame onto for Celtic’s fans behaviour, where Hearts effectively had to take their players off the park BEFORE the end of the game for their safety and straight onto the team coach. That is the second time in a few days that a game has ended with thousands of Celtic fans on the field of play but this time it was worse. Hearts should be all over this and be shouting from the rooftops about how they had to remove their players due to them being accosted or even possibly assaulted by Celtic supporters. I’m sure Derek McInnes will have plenty to say, he ‘gets it’ he knows what Celtic are.

That was the most pleasing aspect for me. A great way to finish a great season.

Definitely the most enjoyable season of league football I remember 1993-1994 and 1994-1995 will always be remembered for the consistency we showed at that time. Though the football this season , and the way the fans have got behind us and the increased crowds have been something else

What can be said about this season, this team and the manager? If we hadn't got 4th, it would have been a travesty. I expect us to do pretty well in Europe and put Motherwell on the football map. This team play the best football that I have seen in my time watching Motherwell, and that started a very long time ago. It has been an exceptional season for footballing entertainment at Fir Park. The connection created between the team and the support is phenomenal. I hope that it continues next season and we see attendances continue to grow. The manager comes across as a real gentleman who knows his stuff, and takes no nonsense. The transformation from a season and a half ago has been nothing short of remarkable. JBA, the backroom staff and the players deserve all the plaudits. As a fan, it has been a wonderful season and I'd like to thank the manager, team and backroom staff for the enjoyment that they have given me.

If we can keep most of the team together and get a striker in, I am really looking forward to Europe next season.

Never saw the game but one of the pundits on the radio said we were 'a level above Hibs'...which is great to hear, but equally great to see that type of recognition topped off with something tangible. My youngest son was at the game and said the atmosphere in the 'well end was electric. This team won't get embarrassed in Europe, I'm pretty sure of that

We're in the Conference League Second Qualifying Round. According the UEFA site, the draw for that round takes place on the 17th of June. Date for the first leg is 23rd July. Date for 2nd leg is 30th July. All the dates after that are available here.

Sparrow, Gordon and Welsh were all excellent at the back. I thought RCC had very good game for us, lots of the good things came through him, particularly in first half.

I get the feeling Hanley will be in Clarke's starting 11 even if he's on crutches.

On the replay, looked like Just had put his arm round the keeper's waist as the ball was coming in. Didn't appear to stop the keeper moving or jumping, but still a bit of a daft thing to do.

In pub on 2nd bottle of wine with Mrs grizzly, she has allowed me one glass 🤣🤣 What a season. I just love this club and this season been immense. No idea what happens before next season but I have no fears as this club is in good hands and on the way up. Right who wants a joke?..........OK.....too far 🤣🤣

Gordon was excellent but Welsh for me. Absolute Rolls Royce of a centre half. Shoulda had a goal as well. I see Hanley went off injured. Were you watching Stevie Clarke!

Thoroughly professional performance from start to finish. Totally dominated the first half and probably should have been further ahead. No idea what the second goal is chalked off for. Didnt seem to be anything obvious. Walsh totally lost the run of himself for about 20 minutes after that. Terrible tackles on RCC and Just, yet he sends Watt off for what appeared to be a dubious second yellow. The lack of consistency in decision making is horrendous. We did well to see the game out without conceding after that and it finished rather splendidly with cordial celebrations all round! Great season. Great team. Please dont break us up! 🧡❤️🧡

A fine as a percentage of their turn over is the only way to deal with situations like this. A 50,OOO fine for a club like ours is massive but to the two arse cheeks would mean nothing. The whole game in Scotland has to be sorted. From refs to VAR . The turmoil at the Scottish Cup game should have been addressed immediately maybe preventing carnage like Wedensday night and today. What a season for us though the passing straight through other teams and general play has been fabulous .

Just over 12k but not as big as Hearts. They did a short walkaround, but it was very subdued due to what was going on in the corner. Not heard anything.

The game at Fir Park on Wednesday was effectively abandoned as well after those manky scumbags invaded the pitch and endangered the players and fans. And it’ll keep happening until the SFA/SPFL actually punish them, but they won’t.

Spent today in Valetta trying desperately to avoid checking my phone, and caving every 10 minutes or so. Great feeling at full time. i have been trying to convince myself since about mid-February that even if we didn’t win another game then this would have been one of the best seasons I’ve ever witnessed (first game 1967) turns out I was lying to myself. Delighted with fourth, anything else would have been a travesty.
