If we adopt a similar approach to the Hibs game, by applying pressure to their defence, we have a chance. That continues to be their weak spot.
-
Without the officials they would be sitting bottom six. Set pieces and officials is all they seem to have. They certainly give up alot of space for teams to exploit.
-
Big laddies but the poorest Rangers team I have seen in my 50+ years. when their full back is the most dangerous player they have you know that they have problems. they are there for the taking.
-
Seems Rangers are a set piece team. Some big laddies in the team.
-
We need a very fast mobile striker with abit of presence. Problem with that is every team, apart from maybe Hearts, are looking for a striker. Would be good to get players in early in the window.
-
I’m hoping Fernandez will get a red and Moore gets injured.
-
Theres the difference between the top teams this season. Hearts front two score goals. They have also had a fair bit of luck. The pressure will be really on Rangers next week if they do get beat today. They cant afford to lose against us.
-
Rangers absolutely caving in… really interesting and also really funny
-
Nice goal from Hearts. Rangers main threat seems to be Fernandez from set pieces and beat player looks to be Moore. im sure JBA will be more in depth than me 😂
-
A draw would be a good result for us and I think a draw in the other game would suit me too. Means Aberdeen aren’t picking up 3 points and getting closer and I don’t want Celtic to jump 5 points ahead of us.
-
And that would leave us still above Rangers on GD.
-
I agree. Its very very difficult to play against a team who are set up to keep 10 men behind the ball and be so negative. They were literally time wasting (i believe one of the players got booked for it) the entire 2nd half Just horrid to watch
-
Not sure how I want their game today to end up. Maybe a draw ao both drop two points?
- Today
-
Poor is a bit harsh, we didnt play as well as we can but still dominated the game.
-
As much as I detest Ross, his political views, his party and his weird hatred of seagulls. He’s actually not a bad linesman
-
Thought it was interesting thst Douglas Ross was running the line on the main stand side as I'm sure he's been on the other side anytime I've seen him. Maybe shielding him from the baying mob in the East stand. He did have a bit of banter with the guys in the wheelchair shelter though and a shake of his head when the Dundee guy (17?) literally threw himself against Koutroumbis and got the foul.
-
Neither are they.
-
We really shouldn’t have any fear going there, we are a better footballing side than them and they are very iffy in a lot of areas. They’ve been stumbling through games but getting wins which is a little worrying but we should be going in there thinking will get something. personally I’d be overjoyed with a draw against both of them and a win v st mirren. I’d rip your arm off for that right now.
-
1-0 home win. We’re not clinical or aggressive enough to win this.
-
I would just love it if we won there 3 seasons in a row A draw here certainly would be a positive
-
Its a fair point. Our pitch yesterday looked bumpy for the first time this season. Not really surprising given how much rain there has been and the lack of daylight/warmth at this time if year. Still light years ahead of where it used to be at this time of year right enough. Obviously we dont have St Johnstones to worry about this season and looking at the fixtures we have a lot of home games coming up. Most pitches have improved, but still something we need to be aware of.
-
Just on the misplaced passes yesterday. It'll be interesting to see how we deal with winter pitches with this style of football. Its inevitable passes are going to go astray. I mean Fir Park has a great surface but winter means it will inevitably degrade even if it's not that obvious to the eye.
-
JBA will have us going there with no fear. Be interesting as Rangers won't be sitting back like Dundee did so will make game more open. I just fear about our forward line as they can't hit a barn door at the moment. COYW

OK, everyone knows we are 6 clean sheets in a row. But I was looking at our home record and we've only conceded against Falkirk in the last seven home matches going back all the way to September. Aberdeen 2-0 Falkirk 1-2 Dundee United 2-0 Hibernian 2-0 Hearts 0-0 Livingston 3-0 Dundee 1-0.
