Jordan McGhee says “all good things must come to an end” after he said his goodbyes to Dundee FC. The 28-year-old spent six years at Dens Park and played under four managers, winning promotion twice. The former Hearts and Falkirk defender played 197 times for the Dark Blues, scoring 21 goals. McGhee was Dundee’s Players’ Player of the Year in his debut season for the club and this term won the Goal of the Season award for a fine strike at Dundee United. He played a key role in the 2020/21 promotion through the play-offs after being transformed into an effective box-to-box midfielder, scoring three goals across the semi-final and final. And in the past two Premiership seasons he has notched 10 goals for Dundee, including a double in the 4-2 win at Tannadice in March. ‘Rollercoaster’ The versatile defender is expected to join Motherwell this summer. “All good things must come to an end,” McGhee said. “I feel the time has come to move on and face a fresh challenge in my career. “It’s been a rollercoaster since I joined almost six years ago and what a journey it’s been together. “Thank you to all my teammates over the years, managers, the amazing staff behind the scenes and the fans for your continued support through the highs and lows. “We’ve shared some amazing memories together. Ones that I’ll never forget.”

Slattery's goal v Killie a couple of weeks ago was pretty special.
-
Can't read it, so could you copy and paste the article please?
-
That's more like it; two minutes is still way too long.
-
I liked his goal at Tannadice where he sat down the defender then celebrated by jumping over him before he got up.
-
That's my biggest gripe, and I have many when it comes to VAR. If they stick with it, let the ref make the call. Give VAR 20 or 30 seconds to review if needed. Can't tell? Then it wasn't clear and obvious, so move on.
-
Still one of my favourites, but agree 100% it wasn't exactly accurate on the colours.

Wee Al comes back then we mean business!Be a different player if he came back to us if he or his agent had any sense they would be banging our door take a wage cut and be where he is appreciated and loved. Still young enough to have a good few years with us and get a decent move it he wants to move. Halliday,Slattery and Campbell offt that's a midfield to get ma baws rattling!

VAR in Scottish football - Share your views

Correct when it came in it was to ensure "clear and obvious" errors were corrected. If it takes them over 2 mins to arrive at a decision its not clear and obvious. -

If we bin VAR we will have 20 errors in a game called wrong rather than 2 or 3. Whether folk like it or not VAR enables the correct decision to be called in 90% of occasions. However it takes far too long to arrive at the decisions. I would strictly enforce clear and obvious error. If a decision cant be called in 2 mins the onfield decision stands. Fans waiting 3/4/5/6 mins for a decision to be called is ridiculous. I would also adopt the English automated tech for offside decisions rather than the cheapo version we have in Scotland. In England they just do not have the carry on we have looking at offside goals. -
Late 70s and early 80s our strip was more Lemon than Amber. The Adidas strip we wore when we ran away with the 1st division title was popular at the time but looking back it was actually quite hideous.

I liked this kit but with claret shorts
-
JTs against Aberdeen was my favourite.
-
Do you agree? What was your goal of the season?
-
I think it’s the best thing that ever happened to improve the modern game … said no one ever !
-
Just need a malfunction of the technology and both teams agreeing to play without. Might look a bit suspicious when it happens at every ground every week, but worth a try,
-
Bring him home , can’t see Halliday lasting the full season . Having Campbell back would give us a bit more steel
-
Kilmarnock home attendance v the OF are almost identical to ours so they didn't boost their average attendance any more than ours. St Johnstone home attendances v the OF were less than ours.
-
They'll never get rid of it, they've fucked it up by bringing it in but there is no going back unfortunately
-
Get it in the bin. That was my response to the survey.
-
It is not being used properly.......but is only ever an issue when it affects the old squirm
-
It’s ruining football. It is far too jobsworth-like and rather than intervening to correct clear and obvious errors by onfield officials it is too often going back to earlier phases of play to almost forensic examine everything that happens in the build up to goals/penalties to find even the most minuscule infringement. Get rid ASAP

I was happy to share my views in great detail. tl;dr ditch it
