  2. We've already got 3 CBs in Mcginn, Mcghee and Gordon as well as SOD who he keeps playing there I think we need to bring in 1 more CB and a LB before the end of the window provided we keep Maswanhise, Just etc and aren't scrambling to replace them as well. (I know we've said we're not selling our best players but if we get offered big money for any of them there will be conversations being had.) Hopefully Nicholson and Halliday are back fit and can provide some depth especially Nicholson as we have no real depth in the RW/10 area and Jens seems to be impressed by him from what he's saying in press confrences.

  4. Jut watched our 4th goal on Facebook, didnt realise how good it was. Some great intricate passing. oh! And while I’m here, I keep seeing 4M is asking price for JT. That’s not the asking price, that’s his value at the moment. Any asking price will not be determined till end of this season, at the earliest.

    Mrs Baillies

Hospitality is a mugs game these days. I don't want my Society contributions going to subsidize a failing business.
  6. Ideally you want as many of your good players available so yes Watt being back would be great. But if not, I'm becoming increasingly confident that Priestman will be fine...
  7. I did mention this elsewhere but someone replied that a potential problem is that the building has an upper storey with all the maintenance costs that entails. A fair point. However, our current hospitality facilities in the Cooper Club and Centenary Suite are out of date, sub standard and cramped. We also have Mrs Baillies. In addition, the Centenary Suite is used during the week for players' lunches which rules it out for other catering and functions, I believe. If we want to increase our off the field income then these facilities have to be seriously improved in some shape or form
  8. If we could win next 2 league games then suddenly rangers game becomes massive
  9. Celtic FC are vermin. That’s your answer.
  10. For me plan A was get an another CB AND get Welsh back. So Continue with plan A amd see what we can get.
  11. Maybe we can get Watt back for that rangers game or at least for part of it
  12. Things are really hotting up at the top of the table. Motherwell are now in a group of 4. Interesting article on the BBC Sport page today about points v performance, the takeaway being that Hearts and Rangers have more points than their underlying stats (performance) would suggest and Motherwell are roughly where we should be on points. I think most of us would instinctively agree that was the case. Rangers have benefited from a good few 50/50 decisions (have not seen today's penalty decision v Dundee). Hearts as Orinoco says above have been resilient and clinical with set plays. Motherwell have been as good as the teams above. We have Rangers looming on the horizon at Firpark. If (big if) we can go into that game with another couple of wins under our belt, then it becomes a massive game for us. Given a level playing field in that game (and I am not talking about the condition of the pitch) we should have nothing to fear. Very interesting times.
  13. They also gloss over his many previous fouls.
  14. Sammy has given up the lease on Club100 so presumably, the owners (whoever they are) will be looking for new leaseholders...I think we'd be missing a trick by not at least enquiring on taking it on in some sort of lease.
  15. Agree 100%. I'm surprised at comments suggesting it was harsh, well maybe not in terms of the BBC. I watched the highlights over a can of Hazy Janes and to me it seems like a top end yellow, just short of a straight red. He goes in studs up with the sole intention of doing Slatts and catches him on on the lower shin. It isn't careless, uncontrolled or reckless; its deliberate and he knew it, as does McCann.
  16. Hearts would struggle without their set piece goals.
  17. Good to see Rangers still getting help to keep in the race.
  18. 'Mon the Hearts - keep it at 2 - 2 now please.
  19. Was about to say that. Time to move onto plan B.
  20. Well I think we can kiss goodbye to Stephen Welsh. Tierney off injured again and Trusty sent off. maybe it’s for the best we look at a permanent signing anyway
  21. I would’ve agreed but MO’N came out and said “I’m stepping in here” with the January window and presumably he does pick the matchday squad. Either way I think we should move on if not sorted early next week.
  22. They are probably in the huff because we told them to bolt with their offer for JT. For all their money Celtic are a poor team.
  23. Given recent history, I expect it's the Board rather than MON that's playing silly buggers.
  24. Playing him against a junior side and then taking him off (when he was their best defender) after 60mins did strike me as being quite petty. you never know though and we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe he’s not been giving a toss in training and made his feelings known he wasn’t happy at being recalled. Who knows?
  25. Was just about to post that. I just don’t understand what Celtic get out of screwing him around like this.
