Interesting lineup. Five changes! Sparrow, Gordon, Priestman, Just and RCC all in.
-
Can get the PPV here: https://live.motherwellfc.co.uk/

I think the increase is not only due to our form and style of football but also the fact that instead of 200 county fans we got 1000 Falkirk fans. No matter what an extra 1000 on the home games is great and that probably works out at an extra £10k a week in revenue.
-
Our best form of defence is keeping the ball and giving them as little possession as possible

I think you can get the PPv link at Motherwell tv site

Hibs have scored 2 or more goals in 5 out of 6 of their previous matches. We've scored in our last 10 league matches. Gotta be a 0-0 then!
-
I think you're missing my context when I said "He needs to be focusing on playing football, not worrying about World Cups" Sounds like we are saying the same thing - job one is getting a game, not worrying about World Cup squads.
-
What on earth does he ask for at the barbers? “A short back and gloss please” he is a danger right enough, him and Bowie will cause us problems
-
It is. I can`t make it tonight, so will be watching PPV. ANyone know where the link is?
-
I think game is also on PPV ?

The increased attendances have been the biggest impact this season. I used to despair that we were stuck at 3500/4000 for home support. It had been at that level for years. Just shows if you give the punters something to enjoy and get behind they will respond. Being so close to Christmas I don't think we will hit the 7000 mark. Think 6000 is more like it for a midweek game. Get a good result tonight the crowd on Saturday could be a 15 year high. Been many a year since we were getting these numbers

You’re missing the context that his new manager publicly criticised him in the media, which isn’t really the best way to treat a young signing. As I said before, Miller still can’t get a game, and at this rate he needs a loan move in January or hope the manager gets replaced so a new one actually gives him a chance.

Not really. When you aren't getting a game, you need to be doing exactly what is asked by your manager and coaches to get into the first team. No other distractions. Once you're in the first team and playing regularly, you can start thinking about doing enough to get into the national squad.
-
Surely the two are the same thing?

Haven seen much of how Hibs play this season but assuming they will try to attack which probably suits us better than if they were to sit in and hit us on the break. If they adopt that approach then hopefully we get an early Goal or two so they have to play a bit more open.
-
Yes, was a quick non confrontational exchange, looked along the lines of….. ”can I take the PK to get a hat trick”? “No! I take all the pk’s” “OK! Good luck”! no wrestling for the ball or petulant body language
-
Maswanhise seemed to celebrate the goal more than Stamatelopolous did so I don't think he was too put out.

He needs to be focusing on playing football, not worrying about World Cups.
-
A loan move to Serie B would be ideal. He needs game time if he has chance of World Cup squad
-
Considering that it normally takes a player 6 months at least to settle at a new club I don’t see too much of a problem. Yes he could have had more game time but he’s a young man so maybe the adjustment will take longer.
-
Exactly, it doesn’t matter who scores as long as WE do. im ok with either starting but I do think we ask our centre forward to do a lot of work so I would anticipate that one starts amd one finishes. when we make that switch could depend on a few things, getting tired, the score, how well they are playing, knocks etc.
-
I expect they did, and I don't doubt it was in good faith. But if he hasn't shown enough in training or whatever, then they're entitled to change their mind. Every footballer knows they have to earn their game time.

If our strikers are keeping the defence busy and JT is scoring 11 goals, maybe it’s working?
