  1. Past hour
  2. 100% we do have a chance here…. We are a good side. 3 points tomorrow and then the game against the knuckle draggers will be huge.
  3. Need to win tomorrow night now. Do that and win next Wednesday and we can start to dream.....
  4. Absolutely. McGhee and McGinn can also play on the right but not on the left. LB is a weak area.
  5. Suddenly tomorrow just gets even more important, could be 8pts off lead if we can take care of Dundee
  6. Maybe the change in the board has changed attitudes. With more football based decisions from people on the board who maybe actually, know a bit about football no just running a business. Starting with signing Wimmer, then handling him leaving really well, then signing JBA after doing the ground work to identify him and getting him on board. Then buying into his style of football ,supporting him by bringing I'm players he obviously identified. Resisting wasting good money on panic buys to fill in squad places. Quality rather than quantity. I think there has been a total change of attitude at the top of the club and it is obvious to see. Which they all deserve credit for. This team is a joy to watch as it is.
  7. The face he pulls when he talks about the attention JT received from around the world, and "also from the UK' tells you all you need to know about what the thinks of the UK attention. (Starts around the 3 minute mark)
  8. Followed by an hour of "that's what champions do" on Sportsound.
  9. Hearts once again looking awful and down to 10 men. So no doubt will win 1-0 in the 96th minute 😂
  10. Today
  11. I don't disagree. While I know logically we might to lose a game at some point from a poor performance, dodgy decision or bad luck, every game right now feels winnable. The last time it felt like this was when we ran away with the First Division under Davie Hay. We lost the first game at Rugby Park then went on something like a 20 league game unbeaten streak (and only lost 4 all season).
  12. There were a lot of players who looked brutal under Kettlewell. A few of them are doing very well under Jens......
  13. Totally agree Weeyin but something feels right this season; we’ll know more in the next three games. Three wins and we’re possibly ahead of Rangers and in the next round of the cup. Do we dream then??
  14. I think folk are getting the wrong end of the stick here. I said I was slightly underwhelmed with the window purely because I expected 1 or 2 new bodies in based on what Jens had said in his pressers. Im not disappointed. Far from it. Id much rather we were where we are now than the trolley dash we have become accustomed to over previous seasons. But that doesnt mean you cant be analytic about it and point out where we could have done better. Left back cover is an obvious weakness. I know Koutroumbis and SOD can both play there, but both are currently injury doubts for tomorrow meaning we dont currently have cover for Sparrow or Longelo. Filling that space would have made sense to me.
  15. It's nice to control your own fate, although winning every game is a pretty big ask. Bring it on.
  16. I didn't say was accurate, I just said I read it on the internet!
  17. I’d happily take a draw for this tonight, and for hertz to draw their next two; that would leave it in our hands (we’d need to win every game til the end of the season mind)
  18. It was 23 out of 1200+ minutes, about 13 games or so. Still a good feat.
  19. That doesn’t seem very long. Celtic rangers Falkirk Livi and Killie have all been ahead of us at various stages in a game.
  20. Robinson was brutal before he got injured, so thats not going to change when he is fit, he will be punted, mutualled, let go, moved on rtc
  21. The stat I saw posted at the weekend is that we have been behind in games for a total of 23 minutes this season. We beat Livi from behind in our first visit there, but I agree it's much more entertaining to just not concede.
  22. Aye, maybe next year if we need extra bodies to maintain our challenge for the title and continued success in Europe ,we can bring in more people.
  23. Adding to the above, I think the marketing of the transfer window has conditioned fans to expect something on deadline day, and to be disappointed if we dont get an announcement. Transfer speculation is a big part of being a fan, so I get it. However, if you need to sign a bunch of folk in Jan, it's usually because the first half didnt go well, and having to sign players on the last day of any window seems like bad organization and scraping the bottom of the barrel. There was similar disappointment at the end of the summer window, even though we had done significant business early so that the team could bed in (although no one could have predicted the success rate we got from that signing group). So I think some people just like announcements.
  24. Best transfer window ever and listening to JBA Dundee presser we held firm and didn't buckle to any nonsense pennies in the pocket bids instead of pounds! What a time to be a Well fan more than happy what has went on same faces that's took us to where we are instead of a team filled with loan faces we shall forget ever came through the doors of Fir Park Pretty disappointed to hear disgruntled voices we don't need another left back why?Cause big Jens says so! Up the Well!
