  1. Today
  2. I think people are just looking at current trends, most of this season we have been the better team in the games we have played. Fans are just approaching games with confidence, a bit like the players.
  3. My 2017 league cup final was ruined as we foolishly got tickets near the singing section and was full of folk not even interested in game and just wanting to fight the stewards. Anyway the majority of folk going are there to support team and generate great atmosphere so we should focus on that element
  4. This 💯 for me Wish Michael Wimmer and his family all the best
  5. You’re always going to get some absolute rockets turning out for games like this, they’re part of but not limited to, the fair weather glory hunting element of our support that don’t go near Fir Park for run of the mill games. I get the ‘special day’ aspect that a trip to Hampden for a Semi or more so a final brings and there’s nothing wrong with having a few beers before and (hopefully) afterwards, I certainly will be enjoying a few, but there’s always some who seem to see that side of the day more important than the football itself.
  6. Yesterday
  7. I know I don’t think I’ll ever sit in the directors box again 🤣
  8. I’m not keen on the 5.30 ko as at last years semi the amount of absolute steamers turning up was ridiculous. Having another couple of hours for them to get tanked up is a nightmare. I like a pint but I never get folk going to big games half or full Jaked. I love taking in these games and remembering them. Wanting to fight with folk round about you and screaming nonsense pi5hed and then falling asleep is for the brain dead.
  9. With the OF playing in the other semi final and the gate money pooled it was never going to be cheap.
  10. Just watched it and thought they all came across very well. Was curious what the infrastructure developments the chairman was referring to. Said more details would be released as soon as definite developments. Anyone any idea what they are.
  11. You taking a locomotive train? 🤣🤣
  12. Will be there under my own steam...I'm sure the buses will sell out but seems a bit steep to me
  13. Never mind, as long as you make it to the final.
  14. I’m not sure now what our best starting 11 and formation is. With the players we have and the style JBA has us playing there’s a few different options. So as mentioned above we may see line up changes depending on opposition or in game situations. Of course injuries and suspensions will also drive changes. With a bit of luck (we are overdue some good fortune) on injuries and suspensions, we have players who can step up without affecting team performance level very much, if at all. im not sure how long this is going to last so we should all enjoy this as much as we can. Such a breath of fresh air
  15. 5:30 on the Saturday is a disaster for me as I’ve other commitments, was holding on to the slim to no chance hope that it would be the Sunday game but that’s fecked now.
  16. In my opinion, if it genuinely was for personal reasons then it’s never a mistake to put family first.
  17. That's Rangers and Celtic prices - penalty we pay for mixing it with them 😠
  18. Looks like we are getting the East end of the stadium. Yeah, prices are ridiculous.
  19. Jeez not exactly cheap prices plus the £20 for bus is steep. Will still be there though
  20. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2025/09/24/premier-sports-cup-semi-final-date-confirmed/ St Mirren semi final is 5.30pm on the Saturday.
  21. Hopefully we can get a good sized home crowd behind the team. Not sure how many Dons fans will be making the trip. Get right behind the team and if we can get off to a good start maybe their heads will go down and we can heap more misery on them.
  22. It's nice you have found a way to stick to your core negativity principles amongst all the good work the new manager and players are doing.
  23. You do have a glass got hee haw in it outlook and where I don't think people getting carried away i tend to look at fact we still have not lost a competitive game all season. Yes we should have won about 3 of thor games but our squad is looking the healthiest it has for years and that I with us selling our star player
  24. Yes, for once we showed a bit of consistency ... and lost both games.
  25. Fair comment but I have a feeling that instead of 11 first team players we now have a squad who play, and fight, for each other, don't expect to play every game and respect a manager who may not get every thing right, but he is the Boss.
  26. Did Motherwell not lose to St Johnstone last season in same circumstances ?
